Our ace vs. theirs. We need Greinke to keep it no worse than even until we face the Rockies' relievers for the sweep.

After our 1-2-3, they lead off with a double. Then he scores on a sac fly.

Greinke was the first to flinch. One run on two hits and a runner left on base for Colorado.

Now Marquez flinched. Escobar with a solo HR to lead off the 2nd.

Peralta doubles in a run, then Escobar with a sac fly for his second RBI.

3-0 D-backs after 2 innings. 'Looking good so far, especially expecting
Greinke to settle down after the 1st inning, which he has.

Horrific slip-up by Greinke to give up a 2-run single to the opposing pitcher, but thankfully Swihart gets the two runs back in the top of the 6th.

Greinke is clearly gassed, so it will be up to our bullpen to hold the 2-run lead the last three innings.

McFarland gets through the bottom of the 7th unscathed, allowing only a walk.

Unless we tack on a bunch of runs, it will likely be Archie or Yoan in the 8th and Holland in the 9th.

And there are those runs. Archie still probably gets the 8th though.

Who with the help of some poor fielding, loads the bases.

On comes the nightmare.. geez. He's a mess.. even last year was showing kinks in his armor. Now he's just a straight up liability. Throw hirano in there..

He definitely needs a mop up duty roll for awhile..his fastballs look like beach balls up there.

Then substitute one nightmare for another (ie Chaffin) I get slightly nauseous anytime I see those two come in nowadays.

Bad management decision. Bradley obviously didn't have his stuff and they just left him in.
Stupid, stupid decision. :thumbdown

Thank you, Lovullo, for blowing the sweep.
