honestly we can celebrate this win..but they couldnt cover today.they faced one of the weakest passing attack in the league.i think adrian wilson with his inability to cover and helping cornerbacks in double coverage is a problem for this defense,he shouldnt play 3th downs

I think it was Toler that was getting beat like a redheaded stepchild today. Anyone know if Flemming was out there today?

Actually Toler was put in to replace Gay who was getting killed. Fleming did play but wasn't very good either.

Kolb on offense, OL could not open it up for a running game and he was under pressure with a defense that knew he had to pass on almost every down
Acho on defense, pressure on the QB (and Lenon coming in a close second with a shout out to Washington for the sack and strip...oops, that sounds like a good name for a gentleman's club LOL)
Feeley on Special Teams, clutch long field goal and he actually hit a few touchbacks for a change
and me and every other Card fan for enduring these games won by inches and mere seconds

Game ball goes to the team.

Even when they aren't playing their best, made multiple mistakes, and had some injuries, they never quit even a little bit. Something this team has shown since mid last year. They got no quit in them and that is a sign of good teams.

Paris Lenon was a grown arse man today. So many 3rd and shorts that he stunted with text book drive tackles.

I'm normally not a big "team" game ball guy, but this is one case where I agree. My notable players would be Daryl Washington, Patrick Peterson, and Andre Roberts. Kevin Kolb put out a fire he started, so I'm not sure that he deserves a game ball.

LOL Skeleton would though...I had to say it. Kolb had a Skelton type day, team kept us in it all through the crap storm. Then Kolb nailed it down. He aint perfect, but we are 4-0.

KK reminds me of ,"The Tale of Two Cities". It was the best of times (when he steps into a throw, like the one that tied up the game) and the worst of times (when he holds onto the ball too long and takes a sack). It's one thing when an OL man gets beat and KK has no chance, but it's the ones that he simply refuses to throw the ball away. They're the ones that cause me to pull out my hair.

Plus he dropped a jump ball early on that I thought was catchable for someone with his talent.

Game balls get handed out pretty freely on this board.

If I had to pick three...

Offense: Andre Roberts (stepped up huge when coverage rolled to Fitz)

Defense: Daryl Washington (really limited Reggie Bush all day, and got a turnover when it was the only way we would have a chance to win)

STs: Jay Feely (3XPs, and 1 game winning 40+ FG)

Lets try and be more specific with our gameballs this week. I know a lot of players deserve one, but let's hand out 3 a piece and see what happens.

2 Kolb doesn't quit

3 Roberts...great game today

Roberts has really developed into an impact receiver this year. He has made it possible to get Fitz into more plays.
