Awesome article on a reveal in the Finale that nobody noticed. (No plot spoilers, but it shows how some details of the show have been hiding in plain sight all along)

You guys really didn't see that? Far be it from me to go all Stout here , but Everyone in the room I watched with noticed that in the library.
I was too busy looking at the books
So sad that now I have to wait another year to get my GoT fix...

Good luck with that...read the books?? Supposed to be a new one at the end of the year....I think....

I remember seeing you predict it somewhere....oh,..here it is....C'mon...I've known it would be there since ep 1...of the series
she is lyanna stark, neds sister and the woman Robert conquered the kingdom for...unfortunately she did not really want to be with Robert...she was in love with Raegar Targaryen... the Kaleesi's oldest brother....
So Jon Snow is Ned's Nephew and not son? So Jon Snow's parents are Lyanna Stark and Raegar Targaryen
Correct. Ironically it makes him less suitable for King of the North, yet it strengthens his claim to the Iron Throne. Potentially even stronger than Dany (depending on Westerosi marriage laws). Raegar was married to the Viper's sister when he ran away with Lyanna, so Jon should still be a bastard, but he'd be the living male descendent of the last true male heir in the Targaryen line.
Unless the tv show is really screwing with us. They haven't explicitly stated who the true father is, but this is the most famous theory fans have had for the better part of 2 decades.
That's why the whole whisper that couldn't be heard thing was such a cop-out. Still, the way they cut to the next scene made it abundantly clear: R + L = J

So then why did Ned and Raegar fight outside of Tower of Joy? Was that Raegar Targaryen that he ended up killing?
Ok, why was Ned there then at that Tower? Did he feel his sister was endanger there or did Robert send him to get her?
Epic episode, my only complain is that I dont get how Cersei gets to be Queen again. Why? How? Who follows her?
His sister ran away with Raegar but was promised to Robert. He was sent to rescue her.
wasn't caitlyn stark revived in the books by the red priests?!
The real question is if Raegar kidnapped her or she went willingly. There are proponents of both theories.
Yes, but for all intents and purposes, that won't be happening in the show--she was resurrected as "Lady Stoneheart". And the producers, as well as events in the show, have pretty much ruled her out as appearing.
Yes, that is the current (and new) theory. So, it is now confirmed that the mothers of:
Dani, Tyrion and Jon Snow all died in child birth.
Dani and Jon Snow are confirmed to have Targaryen parentage.
Tyrion is the only person, other than Dani that the other two dragons seem to listen too.
Aerys (the Mad King) had a thing for Tyrion's mom. Could he be a Targaryen as well?
