I'm not really surpised it was close and ugly game...I was expecting, however, to see CJ and Floyd have pretty good games. The SF defense has been a sieve to RB's all season and Floyd has done well against them.

No, she was the one that lost track of what down it was early in the game. She forgot to move her whistle strap over a finger...still hot though.

I'm not big on blaming refs for wins or loses but I will say if the rolls were reverse I would be blaming the refs on this game. We got some calls that went our way that I was pretty surprised about. Usually we get hosed on some bad calls though that are at critical points in the game so I won't feel bad about it. =)

But these cards have some work to do. We have been good in short yardage... goal line, 1 yard to gain... we always get stuffed when running. We need to make sure we can get a push in those situations because they are often make or break situations.

Cards would have just move the defense up 3 yards. They knew where the line was.

This time it came out on our side. I will take it.

Clearly... if we didn't get a couple of those very, very questionable calls I don't think we win, or very best we are still watching an OT game. This is the first time I think I've came away thinking the bad calls fell our way though, so it says something that we usually are on the receiving end of those calls so I'm not going to feel guilty for getting them.

His helmet did hits CP in the face mask. That is a penalty to the letter of the rule. But I think that is a bang bang play, and we got the benefit. Many times we don't get that call so it all comes out in the wash.

Oh, I'm not questioning whether or not his helmet GLANCED Palmer's helmet/mask... It did... Barely.
It wasn't intentional and it was nothing but a petty, glancing blow that in the game of football, happens all game long. If that was a penalty, then there should've been 25 other flags thrown today...
