Not bad for Sox in my opinion. Cabrera is solid and lots of young arms to fill in for galrand's spot

exactly. cabrera is making 9 mil and garland 12....plus we got cash too.

its not everyday you can add two gold glovers in the same offseason.

i personally hope the rotation is this....

Buerhle
Javy
Contreras
Danks
Gio

Kenny Williams got robbed.....again. Cabrera is mediocre at best. More than likely older than his proclaimed 33. Williams just signed Uribe to a 2 year $9 mil contract, just to be replaced by Cabrera . Brilliant.

....and Hunter just signed with the very same Angels who got Garland a SP and gave up nothing close to value.

Watch the Angels cream the West next year. Watch the Sox fight for last place.

Didn't Cabrera win a gold glove last year while hitting .300 and scoring a ton of runs?

yes.... gold glover who hit over .300.

and in responce to the post above yours..... Uribe signed a one year 4.5 million deal for no other reason but to be insurance in case cabrera didnt pan out.

hey...it could be worse---we could be the cubs.

That piece of logic is no more than a guess and a rationale on your part. Now the Sox have 2 SSs with one year contracts and are using $13. 5 mill in payroll to do it.
