Gary Payton thinks Shaq will be back

On Kcal9 saying he thinks Shaq will be back, and he thinks Shaq has an obligation because Shaq lured him there. He said he would like Rudy T's wide open style, thinks he will do better in that offense. He's as confused as his game is lost if he thinks Shaqs staying, but said he and Shaq would sit down and talk.

I could also see Gary Payton included in a deal with Shaq to Dallas. This makes more sense in drafting Devin Harris because Payton will only be there a year. Shaq is the reason Payton went to LA and could be the reason he is moved to Dallas. Dallas has enough to move to do it, I think Payton extension was for only 5.5M

... which is about $3.5 million too much.

If Nash were to leave the Mavs, Payton might be a good pickup for them. He can't play defense any more, but Nash never could. I know that Don Nelson always liked Payton and tried to get him in the past.
