Lost to Steve Spurrier's Gamecocks, at home. The Bull Gator Club has spoken. Gators lost 6 0f the last 8 home games. Worst offense stats in the SEC. His hire never should have happened. His firing was imminent.

per SI.com and a whole bunch of others.

He will coach last 2 games. If any of the Arizona Wildcat fans are not aware, Rich Rodriguez is at the top of the replacement list.

Rich Rod has said he is happy and as long as he is wanted at the UofA, he would stay. You can't fault him if he did take the Florida job if offered, but I wonder if family is more important? His son is a sophomore at Catalina Foothills and is the starting qb and his daughter attends the UofA.

Couple of people have told me Florida unlikely to pursue Rich Rodriguez due to past with NCAA. Don't know that he wants to leave Zona anyway

If the reports about the past NCAA violations are true, he isn't on the replacement list at all.

Todd Graham has a better chance at taking the job.

Mike Gundy is a candidate mentioned. Florida fans were used to big scoring under Spurrier and Urban. Gundy's offenses are big production teams. Florida is a destination job for the right guy.

SEC prestige with their own national network. 100,000 + stadium and always packed. Bull Gator club has deep pockets and Gundy could bring his entire staff with him.

" and he is a man " :D

I'd like to see Steve Spurrier back at Florida.
