GdS: Predicted XIs for Milan vs. Atalanta – only one change for both sides
There will be just one change to the starting XIs for Milan-Atalanta this evening, as per a report, following positive results for both sides last weekend.
Milan got back to winning ways against Udinese, finding the back of the net four times, while Atalanta showed their class against Bologna with a 2-0 win. As a result of these positive results, there will be just one change to the starting elevens for tonight’s game.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport (see photo below), Atalanta are the ones that will make that change as Sead Kolasinac tore his ACL in the last game. Rafael Toloi was initially expected to start in his place but it looks like it will be the youngster Odilon Kossounou, preparing to face Rafael Leao.
For Milan, there will be no changes as Conceicao was very happy about what he saw against Udinese, even from Luka Jovic who didn’t score or assist. The Serbian was indeed very useful in open play with his movement and ability to lock down the ball, combining with his teammates.
The good news is that Mike Maignan has recovered from the head injury scare, set to start between the sticks this evening.
Predicted Milan XI (3-4-3): Maignan; Tomori, Gabbia, Pavlovic; Jimenez, Fofana, Reijnders, Hernandez; Pulisic, Jovic, Leao.
Predicted Atalanta XI (3-4-1-2): Carnesecchi; Toloi, Hien, Djimsiti; Bellanova, Ederson, De Roon, Zappacosta; Pasalic; Retegui, Lookman.
