I think we are going to be shocked and somewhat numb by the time training camp starts.

Reading between the lines it was stated how many rookies and new players were on the Colts last year yet enjoyed a great deal of success.

Arians is not going to waste the first year of his tenure. There will be major changes on this roster. I believe we will be starting a rookie QB or at the very least a guy who is not currently on this roster.

I kept hearing clean slate. We were 5-11 last year. We lost 11 out of our last 12 games. We could probably employ the entire Alabama team and do as well.

BA is ertainly no wallflower. He comes across as a guy who will tell you once...show you a couple of time...and if you don't get it or buyinto it he will show you the door.

Yes, this is going to be one crazy and wild off season.

Can't wait. I just realized that I haven't paid attention to this team during the off season for the last two years. I am looking forward to seeing what happens in the comming months.

My hope -

Major house -cleaning on offensive side of the ball.

Keeping most of the guys we've already got on defense and ST's

I'm guessing Kolb and Skelton are shown the door, as well as beanie wells, a handful of offensive linemen and Early Doucet. All of the pet project guys that Whis kept around will be gone too.

Defensively, I think we are more sound personnel wise. I'd be thinking that Lenin, Docket and Wilson may not be back though, and maybe William Gay too.

The operative term used by Bidwill/Keim is "retool", not "rebuild" and Coach Arians has said there is talent to be developed on this team. I think comparing the AZ and Indy situations is a bit off base. (IMO). We'll see new pieces on the "O" line, no doubt, but that was to be expected whomever took over.

How are you going to feel if the HC decides a clean slate includes the defense also?

Two things:

Nick Eason has tweeted out the BA is a great coach, and that players who are sensitive to tough motivation should seek counseling.

The other is that with a offensive housecleaning, it may be all on young players next year rather than free agents. College has a big cap number next year and could be cut. Synder has a big cap number and fair or not, has come to represent the downside of Whis having all that FO power. Doing all that means lots of dead money and little room for additions (but clears the decks for the year after that)

With a new GM and new Coach-- I know I would want to simply clear the decks of the past regimes mistakes and set the stage for what I would want to do --

Both Keim and BA know that they have maybe three years to show significant progress. They won't want to waste one of those years trying to salvage most or all of Whis bad decisions.

Most likely neither will be cut. Both deals are either to new or to newly restructured to make it worth it in terms of the cap. Its way more worth it to keep both for one more season even if it is just as back ups.

I think that is very possible.

Arians leaves me with the impression that he will want to put his stamp on team relatively quickly. Like HeavyB3 said, The Whiz's pet projects will be evaluated rather harshly, and sacked if his staff doesn't feel that they have the tools necessary right now.

I also believe that, before it's all said and done, either Dockett, or Wilson , or both, with be gone. Not because they can't contribute anymore but because they may have the toughest time adjusting to the new regime.

I see BA going with a draft-build this year, and journeymen FA's to plug any holes before camp starts. I don't expect any "big splash" free agents until next year.

We'll see how it unfolds...

Actually I think your wrong, i'm sure Floyd and Fitz will be here-Beanie will be our starting RB with Sherman at FB- Levi will be our LT anchoring our Oline- I think our core talent will remain- BA will simplify the picture- the QB will conduct the offense rather than each unit and player conducting his own read and react.

We have no depth- I hope Bridges starts at guarad or RT - I think he is one of our best OLman since Deuce and Reggie Wells were stomped on. Bridges has a couple years left to develop current or new talent behind him on the oline.

I worry that BA may call 600+ passes to less than 400 runs or even 440 like the colts last year- but He is not Whisenstupid unless he xfinds a QB like Luck that is a machine gun- Kolb is a West Coast QB - quit trying to turn him into Kurt Warner for heavens sake- Leave that boy in place and let him sing his song-

Bruse the Moose has enough experience to adapt to his players talents- Which were drafted in the same mold as his philosphy- but not coached or schemed in the same way he coaches nor schemes. I see the versatility in his time at Pittsburg and yet he changed up for Luck! I think John Skelton may blossom under his direction- He has the skills - experience- needs a positive work enviroment and a run game.

I might see it the opposite way. With the past regime both were thinking they had one step out the door. With a new regime they may have a rejuvenated attitude?

Why would he, unless it's recommended by the new D-coordinator?

What if the DC and HC decide its to the ards benefit to trade Dockett and get extra picks? Could happen that Cards decide that in a couple of years down the road DD will fade just when the rest of the team is getting better.

You do know Bridges was cut last year, and was only on the panthers for a grand total of 3 weeks before being cut by them as well, right?

I could see Beanie, Doucett, Kolb and Skelton gone on offense.

Dockett will possibly be traded and OScho could be gone.

I wouldn't be shocked to see Dwight Freeny or Robert Mathis come out to Arizona.

Ron Housler could have a monster year next year. I think he's the guy that will benefit the most next year on offense.

It's possible, but, there's nothing on the record at this point to suggest DD is not part of the plan going forward.

Niners

Niners like thugs and DD has praised their fans for years- Wishes Cards fans were more like Niners fans- thugs! I'm waiting for him to fake an injury while showering with alabama's QB's Girlfriend on the internet during a superbowl.

Look at me look at me- I'm thuggin train streaming down the web toward candlestick Park with a girl that doesn't even like me- ouch ouch- I pulled out an 8 1/2 burger and my head collapsed! I need a new early contract - to pay for her needs and my operation-

know an Octorectomy - to cut that nerve from your butthole to your eyeballs - so you aint got such a crappy outlook on Cardinal fans!

I hope so, but the one thing The Whiz was able to install in his tenure (more so than any other coach I've seen with the Cardinals since Don Coryell) was a sense of pride in the origination, and a willingness to stick around to build something special. That only happens when the players buy what the coaches are selling. That's a tough hill to climb from a management standpoint for BA.

What sways my opinion in this direction is when BA was at his intro presser discussing QB's he said they're be "I'm sure that Steve (Keim), and Jason (Licht), will be looking behind door number two. And if door number two is a better option, we'll go to door number two."

IMHO that will be the governing tenet with the entire roster with the Arians/Keim retooling.

I'm pretty sure that fans that eat/serve strawberries and cream, at the stadium, can hardly be called thugs.
