Panthers are interesting in that they went back to Moore over Claussen.
...and yet Anderson stays the starter....
All you need to know.

Hall and Skelton are worse? You lost me....and yet Anderson stays the starter....

Oh yes, I thought you meant that.Fair enough. Fox is willing to continue try something different when whatever he is doing isn't working.
we have to hope the Lions get the first pick and that we then do what we NEVER do and make them an offer they can't refuse with our number 1 this year and next and deal for the pick. They're not done with the kid from Georgia yet and they're the only team worse than us who could end up there. That being said, Rod Graves ******** will NEVER be able to make that trade, so why bother caring.

Claussen's play really put John Fox in a pickle, he had to bench him.
They just drafted Stafford. They wouldn't want Luck anyway IMO. They sure as hell would be taking offers and we'd better outbid Buffalo, Cincinnati, possibly Carolina, and even dark horse teams like SF for the pick.

Fox is fighting to keep his job because he's a lame duck coach. When you're in that position you don't want to have the patience to develop a rookie.
As for our drafting position and the other teams with similar records, we first need to take a look at those teams:
Carolina Panthers: 1-10
Buffalo Bills: 2-9
Detroit Lions: 2-9
Cincinnati Bengals: 2-9
Arizona Cardinals: 3-8
I don't think Luck is going to come out. My guess is that he will stay another year at Stanford rather than risk not playing at all because of the lockout. He still has options. And if Harbaugh stays as coach, I think Luck stays regardless of the lockout.
I've felt that too until recent comments by Harbaugh which essentially said the kid should come out he's ready. I think Harbaugh is sort of laying the foundation for him to take another job.
True, unless the Panthers can beat Seattle in Seattle.boy--
if you go look at the schedules for Detroit, Carolina, Buffalo -- I dont see any games that look like possible wins for them (except of course when the Panthers play the Cardinals)
I think it's pretty well known that the players want the money going to the veterans rather than unproven rookies. What they don't want is a rookie pay scale and have that money saved go back into the owners pockets.Stating that the NFLPA wants a rookie scale is a factual statement. It is just a factual statement that has no bearing on the reality of the situation.
