Operating under the premise we finish picking #10 and board favorite T. Wilson is picked no later than the top three of the 2nd round.

1- Chance Warmack - OG/Alabama - Easily top 15 talent.

2- Aaron Murray - QB/Georgia - Concerns aside throws a tight accurate ball. A winner who will do what it takes.
B/u plan M. Barkley (he'd have plenty to prove here, get him on the cheap) R. Nassib, L. Jones, M. Glennon. In case Murray stays.

3- Shayne Skov - I/O LB/Stanford - Think he would be a major coup early in the 3rd Rd. - Might have to trade up a tad.

4- Kenyon Barner - RB/Oregon - 10 carries a game 1st yr. - accelerating after that.

I'd take it in a heartbeat.

Give me your top 4.

Round 1 - OT Luke Joeckel - Best OT in draft that fills glaring need.

Round 2 - QB Tyler Wilson - If he drops to 2nd round, huge steal.

Round 3 - CB Desmond Trufant - Excellent CB prospect opposite PP.

Round 4 - ILB Jon Bostic - Need a replacement for Lenon. Solid LB.

1) Tyler Wilson. If that was my guy at the most important position on the team, I would take him as soon as freaking possible

1- Damontre Moore: OLB, Texas A&M,he's probably playing himself into a top 5 pick and may not be there. If he is available, he's the pick. He's play fast and strong and gets after the QB. No brainer pick if still on the board.
2- Tyler Wilson: QB, Arkansas, he has top of the draft talent but was put in an awful sitaution this year. Still, with all the turmoil and new personnel, he put up very good numbers. Concussions are a concern.
3- Margus Hunt: DE, SMU, He's 6'8 and an oustanding athlete. The DL needs addressed and,in a couple years, he will give the Cards two 6'8 bookends at the DE position.
4- Mike Gillislee: RB, Florida, it may be stretching it for him to be available but RB's fall on draft day. He's been the best RB I have seen this year and has decent size to go with speed and power.

I know I didn't address the OL but I'm not sold on the Cards thinking that they need to. They have Levi coming back and will have 3 second year OL in the fold. I'm not saying I agree with that but I think they'll address the OL in the later rounds like they have in the past. But, if Moore is off the board in round 1, Chance Warmack could easily be the pick and I'd be fine with that.

Nice haul - big if on Moore, we'd have to lose out probably.

On Wilson I explained he's gone in the top of the round 2. Now I further clarified that it's the top 3 picks of RD. 2 OR sooner.

1. Jarvis Jones, Georgia. Neck issues aside, this is a lights out pass rusher who also makes plays in coverage and against the run.

2. DJ Fluker, OT/G, Alabama. Plays RT, but size and foot speed says guard would be better in the NFL. Plays in a run heavy offense, and I like that he could conceivably swing to tackle if needed.

3. Bacarri Rambo, FS, Georgia. Super productive player who has been a ball hawk in the deep secondary.

4. Dion Sims, TE, Mich State. 6-6, 285 blocking TE who has been a very solid receiver. Good complement to Housler.

FWIW: I assumed the Cards draft at 6 in each round, and used CBS Sportsline's draft rankings

No QB as there was nobody I really liked in round 1 worth #6, and after that, I assumed 2nd round QBs are fools gold (Drew Brees not withstanding).

Rd.1. Luke Joeckle (LT) OR Chance Warmack (G) OR Manti Teo (ILB) OR Jake Matthews (RT) OR Jarvis Jones (OLB)

Rd.2. Cooper OR Warford (both G's)

Rd.3.+ IDC.

* I think we should do everything we can to get Joeckle. Hes Jake Long/ Joe Thomas. Elite LTs are just below elite QBs on the hard-to-find scale. Guy is shutdown. Nothing will improve our line more and have a bigger effect on our team (other than a QB).

1.) joeckle or te'o or Jarvis jones. If they're all off the board I try to trade down and pick up a 2nd rd pick

2.). Best interior OL available I'd like to target Barrett jones if he's there or Jonathan cooper G from NC

The Texas secondary has been bad but Vaccaro is a very good player whose play seems to have been hampered this year in the attempt of trying to be everywhere where the other morons in the secondary fail to be or rather are there but have no clue what to do LOL

Okay: first drive of the SEC champ game and: Bacarri Rambo shows great range and breaks up a pass as free safety, and then two plays later- Jarvis Jones beats a double team to sack/fumble giving Georgia the ball.

In fairness: Jones beat DJ Fluker for the sack.

I am sure my fourth round pick is in the stands somewhere

As long as its no Johnny Football, dude is like 6 feet 190 and will get broke off at the QB position in the NFL.

I am 6'1 185.

You didn't read my premise in the OP reg. Wilson.

Joeckel is also not there at #10, imo. Give me some info on Bostic.

Didn't see your scenario.

If we are at #10 which I think we'll end up in the Top 8 but I'll replay.

Round 1 - OT Taylor Lewan - Great value at #10 and can play LT.

Round 2 - CB Desmond Trufant - Good CB whose stock is on the rise.

Round 3 - QB Mike Glennon - Big QB who could be the next Phillip Rivers.

Round 4 - ILB Jon Bostic - Brandon Spikes clone who makes plays.

Using this scenario and Moore likely being gone, my first 4 rounds would be:
1- Chance Warmack: After Joeckle, he's the OL in the draft.
2- Ezekial Ansah: OLB BYU, freak athlete who really came on this year.
3- Ryan Nassib/Landry Jones: One of them will be there.
4- Denard Robinson: he can be a weapon in the NFL and would give a big play dimension to the offense.

Now, if improvisation was allowed:
1- Philip Rivers, QB NCST
2- Ezekial Ansah-BYU
3- Matt Elam, S, Florida
4- Denard Robinson

Since there are 8 OTs ranked in the top 80 players, I would definitely draft Warmack 1st and then follow with the highest ranking player between OG, OT, C after that. I am dang serious about putting a top OL together who can whip some butt at crunch time.

After that just the best available.

My only concern on Moore is he really elevated his play this year after they switched him from OLB to DE in the offseason. I know he is a special athlete, but that is a concern if I am a 3-4 team.

I also really like the Ansah pick you added later on.

If my concern was improving my team only, I would draft

1-Chance Warmack - OG - Alabama
2-Ezekial Ansah - OLB - BYU
3-Margus Hunt - DE - SMU

and then use a 2014 pick to trade into one of those rounds to grab Nassib.

It would give us an huge upgrade at OG, and then developmental monsters at OLB and DE. Using a 2014 pick to add a pick to grab Nassib would be a risk, but it is something I would do so I didn't miss out on some of these freakish athletes.

I'm thinking trade down and grab one of either Warmack/Jones than trade up up into the late 1st round to grab Tank Carradine/Ezekiel Ansah.

Another thing that was evident today is that RB is also a big need because Beanie Wells is not a very good starting RB.

I hope to god Stepfan Taylor somehow falls to the 3rd. The guy reminds me a lot of Frank Gore. Not the most physically impressive RB but has a little wiggle and runs low with great balance. Like Gore, he has insanely good vision and patience.

I don't see how Wells can be in the big picture any longer.

Watching someone like Bryce Brown light it up for Philly it's like seeing the light of day and someone who really wants it.
