I can't help but get a few impressions after last night's game.

1. SA played two HORRIBLE games in a row and are 1-1 in them.

2. SA is two three point makes at the end of two games on VERY GOOd LOOKS from having already swept this series.

3. Watching SA miss all those open looks in their two loses, that NJ better be glad injuries occured to Dirk Nowitski, Chris Webber, Shaq and Kobe not 100%, and Marbury getting hurt in game four rendering him less than 100%, or they would be facing teams that could shoot well and would be swept already.

4. After NHL is over, and reuns on regular TV, at least this series will go two to three more games giving us something to watch, no matter how crappy the shooting by both clubs.

5. Joumana Kidd is NOT that pretty! :D

S.A. has been awful. Nets fans wanted the Spurs than the Mavs because the Spurs are just inconsistent when it comes to shooting. Mavs never seem to miss. Nets got a favorable matchup and I like their chances to win the series.

I actually picked the Suns to beat the Spurs in the first round.

and how UNclutch has duncan been?!? he was taking HORRIBLE jump shots over MUTUMBO at the end of the game to no avail. Seemed he didn't even try to take him off the dribble. just awful. spurs pissed that game away.

SA has been awful but after Rod and Byron cried to the press about the refs, the refs were the most awful last night. As a old NBA fan, I'm really getting tired of the refs controlling the games. It has gotten commonplace and I don't know how much more of it that I can stand

I hear ya Reedy. When I turned on the game in the middle of the 2nd qtr and saw that Duncan, Robinson and Rose all had 3 fouls already then I knew exactly what was going down. What is really sad is that it was still a close game at the end.

So true JBeech,
Everyone knows that the Spurs do not commit alot of fouls. You generally have to have a strong pulse to foul and clearly the Spurs are absent of a pulse. The Spurs have got to get it together because they are now playing the refs and the Nets. I know that Pop must be out of his mind.

Yeah, iut was the first time I actually saw a close call go against the superstar. Like when RJ drew the contact from duncan going in for a lay-up. Thats usually a no-call but yesterday they decided to call it on Duncan. There were a lot of bad calls being made though.
