Midgets could'nt stop the Cowpokes at all in the 4th, I woulda went onside with 2 and a half minutes left in the fourth. Usually I wouldn't but the way Dattass was spanking the midget defense...secondary got lit up and the backers couldn't stop a speed walker. That's when I onside and let the game get crazy, Dattass just fielded the kick off and drowned the clock, while in total control.

Can't disagree. May have turned out differently if Eli doesn't overthrow that first TD attempt with about 4 minutes left. Dallas deserved to win though, they looked a lot better on both sides of the ball.

I feel bad for Tryon.

Hes an ASU guy y'know. Patrick Peterson, the CB who couldve gone 1st overall, the best corner prospect since Primetime, got abused at the hands of a rookie Cam Newton. Hows Tryon supposed to perform vs a seasoned vet like Romo, when he probably didnt even think he was gonna play tonight.

The Giants secondary depth is as screwed as our Oline.

One thing I gotta say, Replacement refs did pretty good.

I hate all the hate they are getting. Without them, we wouldnt have football, so shut up and enjoy the game. They are doing the best they can, and honestly, seemed to do pretty good for the most part tonight.

I know that a lot of people hate dallas. today I was listening to fox radio and the theme was which team do you hate the most. a lot of callers called in and would give their division rival. but then a caller from denver calls in who was a huge broncos fan. his team was the cowboys that he hated the most. this is not uncommon and I imagine it is because all of the attention that dallas gets nationally(whether they deserve it or not).

because of that people hate romo and I don't understand it. even cowboys fans don't like him and think that he is a choke. the stats are true. tony romo has one of the highest 4th quarter ratings in the game, yet people think he sucks when the pressure is on because there is a perception that follows him. this cowboys roster has not been very good over the past few years, in particular on the offensive line. yet the dude continues to hide the warts because he is a good QB. more importantly for me I like tony romo the person as well because he is a good dude off the field. something that the cowboys have lacked over the years. and add jason witten and ware to that as well. good guys.

I actually mispoke....i meant to say people hate romo and I understand why...but he does not deserve all of the negative press that he gets if you are being objective by watching the games start to finish every year.

people hate Dallas for the same reason they hate the Yankees. But actually, I don't follow Dallas very closely, I hear most of the Romo hate from my friends that are BIG Dallas fans

I think the giants were a little flat in this game. it just looked like they could not match dallas' intensity for the whole game. after the first half it was really a push and both teams looked sloppy throughout, but down the stretch the cowboys just looked more conditioned to win the game and both teams looked gassed at the end. I really thought tony romo showed out and as great as ogletree played I have to respect tony romo for allowing the cowboys to really have a revolving door at that 3rd WR spot. whoever plays there gets production and I think it has more to do with romo. let's wait and see how good robinson plays in jacksonville. crayton didn't do as well when he left.

still a lot of football left to play and I would advise cowboys fans and haters alike not to make too much of this game despite the rivalry between the two teams.

exactly and I'm not being rude when I say this, but cowboys fans are spoiled brats. they are putting this guy on blast because he is not roger staubach and troy aikman and that is not fair. they both had HOF talent loaded teams and I don't think tony romo does. if you talk to troy aikman and roger staubach both speak very highly of romo. for cowboys fans or haters alike I would remind you were the cowboys were before romo was QB. quincy carter ring a bell? chad hutchinson? drew henson? testeverde and bledsoe playing when they should have been retired?

Put Tony Romo on the Ravens and everyone is calling him a top 3 QB. It's too bad he is stuck on the drama filled, mediocre team that is the Dallas Cowboys.

Probably his best game ever tonight. Maybe not statistically. But he just destroyed the Giants.

well it's tough to say that he's played that well on that stage. it is a unique game(the season opener). and anytime the cowboys and giants play it is ratings galore, they usually have the highest rated game of the year when they play on prime time, but tonight must have been great for ratings. If you watch the game last year when dallas beat the 49ers in SF, the 49ers broke his ribs and punctured his lung. he came back in the game and won in OT in a great comeback win. for me that is his best game and is worth watching. and jessy holley was the hero in that game LOL.

he handles it like a champ. His chick is smokin hot. He makes stupid amounts of $$$ and Jerry Jones strikes me as a guy that takes care of his employees. I can't feel too bad for the guy lol

haha and I'm sure tony romo has enjoyed the perks that come with being the QB of the dallas cowboys. not all is bad. and I agree and jerry is very polarizing...he annoys me often...but if anything he takes too good care of guys. he makes people feel too comfortable sometimes and guys get settled because they know he will sign their checks. this has hurt the cowboys because he will hold on to players for too long or sign them to contracts they don't deserve. snyder is even worse in that regard if you ask me(the latter being Free agency).
