I think there are multiple monsters in this movie (not completely sure)... This last trailer has some quick images of a creature that has the same coloration as Godzilla. But one scene looks like a creature taking a step with their wing (like a western dragon) and then another shot where the creature is falling into the ocean and it has a large pincer like tail... A second flying creature would also explain the F-22 Raptors falling out of the sky...

It's possible there could be multiple, but it's likely that MUTO follows in the Destroyer form where it mutates (with different forms) over the course of the move from a smaller to larger monster.

So fare we've seen smaller version, a centipede-esque version and a flying version.

Maybe but wouldn't that screw up the timeline? It looks like the Godzilla was in full form in 1954 when they were nuke testing on his scaly hide...

I remember watching Roseanne and in the background of the living room she had a huge Godzilla action figure. I remember telling my dad that's what I wanted for Christmas. He got me one about a good 12 inches tall.

Idk if any of you have gone to FYE but the Toho masters collections have been released. DVDs come in a nice case you get the Japanese version and the English version on the disc.

I'll tell you what--this movie had balls. Big, brass balls, which made it pretty damn good. One gaping, gaping plot hole, but still awesome. And hey--if a movie has a plot hole that big and Stout still likes it, you KNOW it's good

Godzilla would have eaten the U.S. Navy--nuclear powered ships. So should the flying beasties. Actually, it's a huge plot hole that should have killed the movie. Only because the rest of it was really out-of-this world did it not kill the movie. As it stands, it takes an incredible movie down a few notches to just a really good, fun movie for me.
