Hopefully he's ok and back in time for the playoffs. He's been playing great lately and we need every pass rusher we have.

It's kind of weird that just yesterday Arians said the only person who would miss the game was Mauro. I guess Golden waited a couple of days to tell team doctors about the injury.

I think he'll be back for the playoffs. Just a guess.

Shaq Riddick time.

via @TomPelissero Bruce Arians on Sirius Radio says ‪#‎Cardinals‬ LB Markus Golden reported a knee issue today that could take some time. May not play Sunday vs. ‪#‎Seahawks‬.
Likely use the next couple of weeks to get Golden ready for the playoffs.
5th round pick Shaq Riddick could be active for the first time, Alani Fua also can play OLB.

Riddick has no playing time up to this point and we're anticipating him making a contribution this late into the season and into the playoffs?

Just proves the point that you can't have enough pass rushers. ARZ needs to grab at least 1 in the draft. I doubt they sign one in FA because of the price.

Sometimes fresh legs is all you need.

Who knows, maybe Shaq has been looking great in practice lately and hasn't been active because of numbers? Maybe he steps in next week and goes gangbusters...

Shaq may be active but I'm sure Kareem Martin will be the one getting most of the reps at this point.

On passing downs, Kareem Martin will get more reps...but it's tough to imagine him being a factor versus Russell Wilson in the base defense, especially versus the read option...which is why we may get a good look at the more athletic Alani Fua on the edge this week.

Shaq was active one game but didn't see the field

Oh man, I read that wrong. I read rest OF playoffs. Rest FOR playoffs is very different.

Then rest, rest my man!!! Get well for the second round home game!

That week off to rest guys and get ready for the playoffs is so freakin HUGE. Golden can take this game off and rest that injury for almost a month counting this week.

Good job Cardinals.

I did the same thing.

Rest up youngin'. You got QBs to kill in a couple weeks.
