like I said - with posts constantly insulting people and saying he thought movies geared towards the 13-18 year age bracket were either a) hilariious or b) looked great, it made me wondering if he was a kid, because he fit the mold.

Ok, but you really are coming across as sounding like this guy:

and why would anyone be insulted by that question - different age brackets in general have different tastes IMO.

Well me, my wife and 4 other friends with my wife (24) and others ranging up to 37 all thought it was pretty good. It was funny if its not your cup of tea thats fine, but that doesn't make it crap.

that's probably true. Just saying, Dane Cook's "stardom" confuses the hell out of me.

it does to me. It's my perogative to believe a steaming pile of turd is just that, as it is your right to think it's funny.

I am not a huge Dane Cook fan my wife and friends were the reason I was even there, but it was funny. I much prefer action, suspense, drama type movies, my wife is the main reason I watch alot of comedy.

The way you ask it was clearly insulting cheese, but whatever its over.

i should have prefaced it with my Dane Cook/Comebacks notions, but hey, it's not like I was the only one thinking you were a kid. You come off a certain way, just as I'm sure I come off as negative about a lot of things.

Ok then that settles it Cheese thinks its a steaming pile of crap. To all others who may enjoy a funny movie it was worth the price of admission and you will laugh!

in no particular order:

Blazing Saddles
Rushmore
Airplane
The King of Kong
Superbad
40 Year Old Virgin
Anchorman
Raising Arizona
Quest for the Holy Grail
The Jerk
Meatballs
Borat
Elf
Animal House
Trading Places
Vacation
Kentucky Fried Movie
Amazon Women On The Moon
Kingpin
There's Something About Mary
Dr. Strangelove
Caddyshack
Stir Crazy
Billy Madison
Almost anything Judd Apatow is involved in right now.

and a host of others. Comedy is my favorite genre - thus the reason I'm incredibly picky on what does and doesn't pass for funny.

Personally, I think the silver screen is in a relative down period for comedies, save what Judd Apatow and his crew are doing. The best comedy in the industry right now is mostly on cable tv with Weeds, it's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Extras, Flight of the Conchords, South Park, Family Guy, The Office and 30 Rock.

Critics liked some of those movies! That means nothing to me!

Not bad but you do have a little different view of comedies than most people.

I am surprised you left off Napoleon Dynamite cheese. I don't know why people like that movie I could only make it through about half before I had to leave, just stupid.

I couldn't leave Napoleon Dynamite since I was watching it at home, but I don't recall laughing, not one time, in the whole movie.

He included it in cable tv, not movies.

like I said, it wasn't an exhaustive list. I own South Park and think Shut Your F'N Face Uncle... is quite possibly the single greatest song of all time.
