Record setting wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald of the Arizona Cardinals Saturday Feb.3rd met with new Arizona Head Coach Ken Whisenhunt. "We had a good meeting Saturday night at the coach's Hotel the Ritz Carlton , Larry said, I'm really looking forward to Mini Camp and getting started.

Last year was tough on all of us, Coach met my Dad Friday at a NIKE reception in South Beach, where my Dad gave him my cell number and coach called me. Ironically we are both under contract with NIKE and the Cardinals that's all good.

Former Pittsburgh Steeler great Jerome Bettis also called me Friday and told me a lot of good things about coach and how he deals with players." Hopefully this clears up any misconceptions created by both Arizona newspapers that painted a false unfair picture during the week that was not true.

I heard Bickley this morning say that Larry was unhappy with the local media, unfortunately I couldn't catch the whole story. Did anyone hear what Bickley had to say?

I'm wondering how he paints this as I believe his cohort at AZ Rep Kent Somers intimated that Larry hasn't spoke to Wiz because of Green's firing.

most reporters and many many tv hacks are the bottomfeeders of the wolrd...always complaining about having to cover the superbowl yet the are always at the head of the chow line at the media feeding frenzies...free booze and food is their motto...the print media is tanking and they need to find a way to keep their newspapers alive, so they make up stories and write as fact what is rumor that they heard from some rummy at an all you can eat happy hour...think i am making this up...i have seen it too often first hand!!! some of the guys are so looped they fall asleep at the events they cover...are they all that way...no way...but more than you might think
