Strange that he seems so angry about Earl Clark not getting a chance, even though every single chance we gave him he was hopele$$.
Earl Clark just isn't a good basketball player. Someday, he might be, but I doubt it. He shoots the ball every time he touches it, and he misses the majority of shots he takes. Perhaps he'll become a better percentage shooter, but even then, it's very rare for a guy to change his instincts. Instinctually, Clark is a chucker. What is his upside? Someday, he might potentially be a better chucker?
On the brighter side, this team has done a good job recently with its draft picks. If you think about Clark, Lopez and Dragic as our most recent picks who had potential to become players in this league when we first drafted them, I'd say we were successful with Lopez and Dragic, while we were unsuccessful with Clark. But these guys weren't top 5-10 first round picks. Whenever you get up around that 15th pick in the draft and lower, you never really know what you're getting. So, two outta three ain't bad.
