The timing is ripe to grab Tebow for a song & a dance! Now that his it's been declared that he's the most overated player in the NFL, it's time for the Cardinals to act!! He may have questionable mechanics, but he's super bright & has the heart of a lion! On top of that, he DOESN'T turn the ball over. The outlay is minimal, so there's nothing to lose in the process. He's young & has won at every level he's played at. This team lacks leadership on the offensive side of the ball & Tebow is a born leader. Are there better options out there? NO. We grabbed Warner when everyone else thought he was washed up & no one wanted him. Tebow is worth the risk right now.

I say, no thanks. With a 47.5% completion%, he makes Derek Anderson and Blaine Gabbert look like accurate passers.

A week ago I thought such a suggestion is complete lunacy but one must think of it like this, Tebow probably would not take much to get and what do we have to lose. Yes, Tebow is a media circus but we are also the one franchise in the NFL which people tend to ignore the most. The guy is a good football player and might even become the best runningback on a beat up team without one if the Cards were to be the first team to take the plunge if they do not try him at QB, and our OL makes the QB a runningback anyways. Hell, Kolb got 70 yards rushing in a game. The Tebows and Vince Youngs are the solution for this season, we need a QB that can get us yards anyway possible. If you do start running with the QB and make the defense think twice, there will be opportunities to throw the ball then to a WR named Fitz who does not need a perfect pass to make a play.

I'd take him in a heart beat.

And turn him into a running back. Which is what he should have been.

I hope this is a April Fools Joke! Seriously...you do realize Teblow is one of the worst passing QBs in NFL history right?. I nominate this for most ridiculous thread ever! :mulli:

You guys kill me with panic crazy crap like this. :bang: Skelton has a ton more ability throwing the rock than Teblow & that's saying something. Jeez what an absolute stupid idea...and Rex Ryan doing it confirms what a terrible HC he is.

I really do not see him as a QB, he is a runningback...that is why I would not mind him. Skelton is a lot better passer than Tebow. Eventually, some team is going to pick him up and he will be a decent runningback.

Get Tebow and Vince Young. Run the pistol or zone read spread offense with Tebow until he gets knocked out then run with Young. With our midget RBs and current WR corps we have the perfect personnel group to do that. Especially since you don't have to block anyone to do it.

What have we got to lose? Our offense is beyond horrendous now. At least those two would be more fun to watch than Skelton getting sacked every other snap and throwing TDs to the other team.

As I recall Lindley can run the ball quite effectively as well.

The only reason I say I like Tebow is it forces teams to play us a tad differently. Maybe Larry doesn't see as much cover 2 because teams know they'll have to play the box differently. It's intriguing (as long as it doesn't cost hardly a thing).

I don't think so. He only had 37 rushing attempts for minus 82 yards combined his last two seasons at SDS.

Put him behind the Cardinals offensive line and he will run fast. :D

When I saw Lindley in preseason he looked quite mobile. Maybe he primarily uses his mobility to pass and not run.
