This is basically like San Andreas all over again. But with better graphics and more things to do.

Amazing so far. Loving every second of it. Trevor is quite the character.

I'm not a violence and language kind of guy but the game is a masterpiece due to a living and breathing city and country that you can interact with. The sound design is amazing as well. This game is quite an engineering feat. I can't wait to see what these guys do on PS4.

I will wait until it hits the bargain bin. I am all for open world stuff. Loved the Fall Out games and loved Red Dead Redemption.

Toys R Us is giving a $15GC with the game if that helps any. I waited for a deal as well.

My favorite video game purchase in a few years. They've taken all of the best parts from games like Vice City and San Andreas put it in a huge open world that reacts to your actions (similar to Red Dead Redemption). This game is phenomenal.

I also dont get how they pulled off these graphics on an 8 year old gaming system. Quite the programing job. It looks a lot better than GTA 4 did but it somehow runs much smoother too.

Final games tend to do this IE: God of war on ps2 looked as good as the new ps3 games did at the time.

I thought about buying it. I wouldn't play it though. In fact, I got Red Dead Redemption for christmas several years ago. Never even opened it. Its still in the original plastic.

It really is fantastic. Carve out the time, it's worth it.

Video games, by & large, bore me. Red Dead Redemption is GOOD. (Never played it, but I DID sit through dcr playing it & really enjoyed watching him play).

I guess I'm going to have to play it. The beginning was more of a chore than an enjoyable experience. I think I was about 6-7 hours in before losing interest.

red dead redemption was the ****.

GTA4 just seemed like get a mission, go kill guy. get mission go kill guy. wasnt fun to me. Along with having to "make friends", answer their calls and hang out with them at the bar? I dont want to play the sims I want to play GTA>

GTA has lost its appeal.

It gets old very fast. I remember when GTA (the first one in Liberty City) camme out. You start off crawling out of the prison truck on the bridge and its dark and raining. Was incredible. I like "...So I can just go whereever I want?" Beautiful childhood moment.

GTA4 felt slow to me. Too realistic. I want open roads and straight line speed areas where I can a ramp and rocket off. Not much of that in 4.

With that said, San Andreas was very fun for awhile. Just pure open wilderness is severely underrated in games.

I didnt like 4 at all.

5 is AWESOME. its back to being fun. The story is great, it feels like san andreas/vice city.

The story is great so far (i am only 12% in).

I love this game. That is all.
