You will not find one post on here from me saying how great a pick up Hill was.. In fact you might find one or two saying I questioned it and hope it works..

Grant Hill is not the man we need.. In fact he's the anti Sun.. He's old and trying to change his game to fit in with us..

Terrible signing...

He totally disrupts our offensive flow..

I honestly don't know what are you talking about.

Are you not watching this? Have you watched Hill's career? I mean cmon! Its very basic to me from the day Hill was considering us it wasnt gonna work.. But he's such a good guy, lets all forget he doesnt fit in..

Well thats great, but the usual Suns are not.. And why is that? We are not our uptempo self.. And it just aint tonight either.. It was last night too..

The offense is outta funk.. But Im glad Grant is playing good..

The Suns brain trust must have signed Hill off emotion and the feel good story.. I mean how could they overlook Hill is 35 years with ankle and leg injuries for dam near 10 years and then expect him to run with an uptempo team like the Suns.. Oh ya, lets give him a starting role too.. My God!

We look slooooow..

As we get beat by 25...

:bang:
Barbosa sucked. Marion was average. Nash was average. Amare sucked. Bell sucked. Diaw sucked.

Grant had one of the better games tonight. He actually looked like one of the only players trying tonight.

That was one of the most disappointing Suns games I've watched in a long time -- but what does Grant Hill have to do with it? Is it Hill's fault that Amare is so completely checked out of the game that he doesn't even know he's supposed to start the second half? If I was D'Antoni, I would have told him that if he doesn't want to show up, then just go on home for the night. In fact, I would have sat every one of the starters to start the second half, just to embarrass them and make the point. But it doesn't matter, anyway -- they embarrassed themselves tonight.

Great! Thanks to him we only lost by 25! Whew... Probably would've been 45 without him!

Well ya.. Hill is so slow geting down the floor we have to wait for him to catch up to set the offense.. Or on defense, other players have to compensate for his lack of rotation because his quickness is gone..

So again, how does he fit in with this uptempo team?

I think Hill's still a good player, but I don't think he fits DA's vaunted "system".

James could get hot from behind the arch and could play D.. Hill is trying to be a 3 shooter, and failing miserably..

Grant is effective when driving to the hoop and taking mid-range jumpers. However, if D'Antoni wants to spot him up in the corner we are better off with JR. Rather than practicing three pointers, Amare and Hill need to hone the skills they already possess. I blame this on D'A. If only the Suns could acquire Phil Jackson.

How many times could you say James Jones got hot from behind the arc? That's laughable. He was a decent help defender...that's about it.

Hill shot 1 three tonight. You'd have a point if you were talking about last night, but we don't have a big enough sample of meaningful games to judge Hill on yet in terms of being a 3 point shooter.

That's because Grant Hill never has been nor will be an outside shooter. Anyone with a brain could've told you that D'Antoni's ploy to make Hill practice three pointers all summer to fit his "system" was going to backfire. Grant Hill prior to this season made only 66 three's at a 24% clip in his ENTIRE CAREER.
