That's because Graves isn't in the circle of trust. You must have the name of Bidwill to be in the know

When you are getting the question every week, ya have to know it isn't just a reaction to a loss and it is something expected. Just do it now, cut it out and go from there.

Yeah, I don't either. I don't know what you can do at this point.

Pendergasts' defense had a horrible showing today, so I don't know why you would promote him. Frank Bush is the linebackers/assistant HC and his LB's allowed 2 100 yard rushers.

The Cards are already paying him 2.5M per year. I don't think any coaching change at this point would make a difference, and no reason to pay someone else a HC salary to suck. I could coach this team and lose and I would be much more affordable. :(

Even though he doesn't deserve it, I expect Green to be kept at least through the season and maybe...maybe...into next year.

He will not be fired this year because the Bidwills have nobody they can put into his position...nobody. Pendy?? LOL, Kruczek? ROFL. Bush? Nope. Any of these guys bring total chaos down on the team and makes the Cards look worse than they already do (amazingly that is possible...think about it).

I also think that, miracle upon miracles, Denny suddenly keeps the ship from completely sinking then they keep him next year but in true Bidwillian fashion, he is a lame duck coach because they will not give him an extension until he proves anything.

Look from Green to be around into January.

Best guess at that point is Graves is made GM and Denny is fired but there is some wiggle room to keep Denny if something major happens.

I see Green being back next year. I have a weird feeling. Its bidwillian logic.

I cannot imagine Green being back next year. There would be a revolt. It will be torture to finish out the season with Denny, but I am not a big fan of the interim HC. The only thing an interim HC might do is give evidence that M Bidwill is determined to win. Firing Green tomorrow is certainly a "I am not putting up with this" statement by management. I think it would be a positive move by management.

What is the point in firing any coaches until the end of the season ?

Sending a message. Stop the constant asking of the question. Be free and ready to pursue coaches with Green already long gone, and not right out of the door.

Audition Clancy for a job somewhere else.

So he can't do any more damage by cutting players and firing some of the few good assistants that he has.

I agree, it will accomplish nothing. But Green and his cronies should be gone next year. They should also clean house on most of the offensive line. We had among the best drafts the past 2 years and a pathetic .250 win % to show for it. Green makes his teams look great on paper, but cant produce on the football field.

Perhaps to send a message to the players who have quit, and to potential new hires, that ownership won't stand still for this kind of performance. For this reason Graves should be shown the door, too.

And I don't anticipate agonizing every Sunday over this crappy football organization but I still do it.

IF the Cards let Green coach out this contract and this continues they're basically telling us all we don't care about wins and losses we just want to make a profit.

IMO, this is just more cat and mouse can we get him to quit trial balloon stuff.

They want him to quit, he's probably not going to, so I guess if we don't hear something tomorrow, we aren't going to the rest of the year, but I will say this, if in the offseason about a week after the Superbowl, if Dennis Green is still our coach, I'm not a fan of this team anymore.

I have limits and that's it.

This team is the poster child for we quit on our coaching staff right now, coaches don't come back from that, if they keep this guy next year, you're right that's as bad as it can get.

To say:

"We are not going to stand for this **** any longer. We care about the product we put on the field and Denny has screwed the pooch enough here. Our fans deserve better and while it won't make a difference this year, we will hold Denny accountable for where this team is right now."

Keeping Denny the rest of the year will completely demoralize the fan base as it plods along to 2-14 or 3-13. It will demoralize the players as well. They know Denny is full of **** right now. They don't buy what he is selling any longer...if they ever did.

Damn nidan, the better question is why did they let Denny on the damn charter flight home? Are you not pissed off enough to hold Denny accountable for this mess? If so, then bust his ass out of here tonight...not in January.

EDIT: Did you see Leinart...our future today? He went from brash to head hanger in about 3 weeks. Do we want Denny further eroding this kid? Nope. Matt could be just the type to say...screw this, I am retiring.

That is the only thing good it does, and that's enough to make it all worth it.

The agony of letting DG flounder and wallow this team straight into the muck, only to keep getting paid, well that's just not good at all, it's poison, DG wins this round, he's all in and he has you Bidwill's beat, your choice is to cut bait and run or .... Let DG implode your franchise to depths we've never seen before, stuff that is worthy of movies and such.

Don't go there, fire this guy now please!!!!!!!!!!!!!
