Wisenhunt/Graves fired

Per Adam Schefter. He just announced it on Sportscenter.

Schefter also said Wisenhunt will be meeting with ownership today.

Graves was only a Yes man, he did contracts I hope this isnt just a move to appease fans, Whiz should be next followed by a Horton Promotion!

Horton should be promoted to HC by the end of the day. I'd like to see this team take a defensive philosophy going forward with Horton hiring a competent OC.

Cards have been negotiating with Keim for last few days for GM job. If that's not done soon, he could leave for another GM job.

Can't say I'd be too disappointed if Keim left. I don't know how culpable he was with personnel moves, but I think I'd prefer new blood.

The word is that Keim has limited contract experience, which is what we really need in a GM. No more maxing out the cap on stupid contracts. No more lack of flexibility to land the big fish. No more failing to pursue a solid FA at a position of need because we are strapped for cash.

I don't know if he has the ability to do what the other good GM's do in this League, but I do know that Graves did not.

I was literally about to type 10 years too late myself.
Yeah, just as Whiz needed to go for Max Hall, Ryan Lindley, John Skelton, and Kevin Kolb; Graves needed to go for Levi over AP, Matt Leinart, and all of our drafts in between 2005-2007.

I'll also tack the abortion of a 2003 team on Graves' horrid resume.

As a replacement, I nominate ASFN to GM by committee. We are clearly smarter than the professionals.
