I'm surprised that it took this long. When you have fans screaming for AP and the GM takes Levi Brown instead, and they are the experts? That move should of had him fired way long ago.

Passing on Suggs and trading down for Calvin Pace and Bryant Johnson should have been enough to get him fired. Levi Brown instead of Adrian Peterson.....that one really stung, though behind our offensive line no telling how Peterson would have done in Arizona.

The fact that peterson just ran for 2k... With no QB and an incredibky pedestrian offensive line tells me he would have been spectacular anywhere. The dude's like barry sanders meets earl campbell. He'd have been a superstar no matter where he went.

Now that Graves is gone and Stewart Bradley likely cut, I don't have any whipping boys left .

I guess they could always hire Haley and draft Barkley, after signing Alex Smith :).

This is a giant move--

Any doubt over if Mike B is in charge vs Bill Sr should be gone. Graves was Bill Sr's guy. 15 year employee who was also a really decent guy-- the kind of guy that the Cards tend to keep employed for life. Oh yeah-- also owed $1.3mm next year.

Vegas, baby, yeah!
Good that Graves & Whiz is gone.

I'm not ecstatic that Keim is being considered for the GM position. I thought he wasn't that phenomenal evaluator of talent to begin with. In fact, I think Green was better in that department. Then again, if there's no one left on the table at this point, it may be Keim or bust.

Other than Horton, who is a candidate for HC position?

Now I'm going to have to change my avatar (and happy to do so).

I gurandamntee you that was not a Graves decision. That was Grimm's call, and Whis let him do it.

Graves was a yes man. He needed to go, but he was a yes man.

Yeah, just as Whiz needed to go for Max Hall, Ryan Lindley, John Skelton, and Kevin Kolb; Graves needed to go for Levi over AP, Matt Leinart, and all of our drafts in between 2005-2007.

I'll also tack the abortion of a 2003 team on Graves' horrid resume.

Matt Leinart? That was Denny Green's wet dream. Graves didn't make that decision either. And that wasn't a bad decision, really. Leinart came into the league and had no desire - when he had a ton in college. Got paid, got laid, didn't want to play.

Graves sucked at negotiations, didn't draft well when he was tasked with it, and would NEVER override a guy like Denny or Whis...mr. yes man. And a Yes Man is not a GM.

I hope Keim has big effing balls.

Too bad he re-signed Levi before he left
