I mocked NFL.com on Twitter and BA's daughter-in-law liked it! #big time

I'm starting to get the feeling that people are already making excuses (weather, Seattle needs the game more, etc.) in the event that we lose to yet another team who actually has a pulse.

No excuses here. Its a big game, I'm just being realistic because I'm starting to get the feeling that some Cardinals radio personalities and fans have a completely skewed perspective of this game. Its as though suddenly Seattle isn't good at all anymore and there is no acceptable scenario where we dont win this game.

There is no finality here. I can totally forsee us losing a tough game in Seattle and then coming home next week and handing Cincy their first loss.

I want this game bad, I just dont share yours and some others views that it's bigger than it really is. If it was home, I would say yes, absolutely, have to win this one, but it's not. It's going to be cold and wet and against a crazy desperate two time defending NFC champion. It's going to be a tough game. A hard fought division rival game and we can lose without it meaning 100% that we're not a good team, even though I know that will be the reaction. Some people are acting like it's a given that we win and anything else is unacceptable. I just dont agree with that stance. Seattle is still Seattle.

Ok fine, maybe I am just making excuses, lol IDK cheese, I just dont feel good about this one. I think Seattle is going to play out of their freaking heads. and when they do that, at home, man they are tough.

people also need to remember that the last time we won in Seattle, the D had Abraham, Dansby and Washington making up probably the top 3, if not top LBing corps in the league... which helped hold the Hawks to 10 points, despite Palmer having 4 picks.

Hopefully we can remove the 4 picks and have the same result.

I just feel like it's big because it's another opportunity to see if this team is actually good or if they're just beating terrible teams. Reality is that even though I think Seattle is still dangerous, they really have NOT looked good so far. And if we're really a Super Bowl contender, these are the type of games where the team proves it's mettle.

I don't think a loss is unacceptable. I just think another loss to a team with a pulse will continue to push me further and further into doubt whether this team has what it takes to win games in the playoffs.

yeah... I expect Palmer to play a lot better, but this D ain't even close to the 2013 D, which was flat out nasty once Washington got back on the field and Abraham got his legs under him.

Guys, it's like beat these guys already. Their house, or house, and I do not even want to make concessions for losing even before we have yet to lose to the Seahawks. Yeah, sure their still a solid team but they are not what they where last year and they are not the kind of team that is going to beat you by having solid drives this season, they are relying on mistakes and the home crowd to fill what they lost from last season. They have a solid defense and their offense waits for you to get impatient and sloppy and let Lynch (old man beast mode but with a bad back) bust one big run on you or Wilson break out and play the school yard on you with a big one. Beat them and if you have any belief the Cardinals can win a Super Bowl, this is the kind of team you beat that is solid but a step down from last season. The Cardinals should be the next step up now in the division with those Rams just needing a good QB opposed to an average one to be right there. The teams we where suppose to beat we clobbered which confirmed the we are a Super Bowl contender and the Rams and Steelers are just like this Seahawk team... round three of playing a close game and maybe showing that we can beat a team like this too :)

For me...the hags are not really even part of the equation..... I just want to see the Cardinals put in 60 minutes of good football.... they have not done that yet this season and if they want to be a serious team they need to start doing it.

Cant argue with that at all. I hope we get the answer we want this week.

I think we have a solid chance of winning against the Hawks. Right now our defense has done an amazing job of only allowing 34.7% completion rate beyond 10 yards. Heres a cool rundown of our passing defensive map, which also has links to the Hawks map and why the Hawks are vulnerable in this area:

Completely agree. You can't have it both ways. You either want to be mentioned with the elite teams or you don't. You want your name up there? Like you said...have to beat up on weak teams. Have to beat good teams. You have to win match ups against other elite teams.

Although...Seattle is still 4-4. I don't know how much this really helps you change league perception you are elite. I mean if you beat even a 4-4 Seattle they will be just another 4-5 team you beat up on the end of the game. I don't think that does much for us other than secure a division win.

The real test is going to be Nov 22 against the Bengals. I think you are going to know what kind of team this is after that game.

We can win this game, but I think a lot of the late money will move on the Seahawks because of the weather.

This is where I get to see how good BA is.

We can win this game, we should game plan for the weather, because there are two things you can do.

Adjust the routes to favor the WR since cutting when it's wet is hard if you run your routes extremely precisely you actually have a big advantage as the defensive player has a harder time adjusting to your cuts when done properly and you should get more open.

The other thing you can do is just run the ball.

Just run the damn ball.

In wet weather teams turn the ball over that includes the home team so you can also make sure you make it a priority that the defense gets more turnovers than your offense gives up.

You can do all these things but the most important by far is you can expect your team to win and make sure they know you expect it.

If we go in there saying oh man it's at their house, it's wet, we don't need it as much, they do, it'll be alright if we lose then I can almost assure you that we won't win.

IF on the other hand you go in there like you want to dominate them and make them understand you OWN them this is then the PERFECT opportunity to take a dump in their house.

Fumble the ball away 4 times and we will lose. Its always all about turnovers.

We just need to play our game and not turn the ball over and we win. I don't buy into the Seahawks getting their late season push and gotten anything figured out. Honestly they sqeeked by a Cowboys team by one point lol with Matt cassell playing some of the worst football on earth, and beat up on the niners who flat out suck and had given up, let's not forget they were 2-4 before these two wins to get back to .500. This ain't the Super Bowl Seahawks on offense OR defense IMO, we should be able to go in and if we play mistake free football beat them by 10-14 points! I'm thinking 28 - 17 cards
