Marion=Good player. Bad salary.

Diaw=One year wonder. awful contract

Banks=Terrible contract, will cost draft picks to move.

Barbosa=Best trade value. Good contract, young, loads of potential.

Thomas=Old

You won't get Garnett without Amare and that is the truth. If KG is available there are teams that can put up a better deal than the above.

YES WE CAN. Give me another trade idea where another team gives up an Amare calibar type player.

Tyrus Thomas, Ben Gordon, Knicks pick right off the top of my head.

Young big, better scorer than Barbosa, high draft pick.

What about Marion and the ATL pick for the Number 1 or 2 pick? Durant or Oden.

Oden no way.

Durant maybe depending on who gets the #2 and IF we end up with Atlanta's pick.

None of them are Amare calibar. You said Amare would have to be included which is clearly false. None of those Bulls players you mentioned are even close to Amare.

Do we have to repeat it?

There is NO way we will ever get the #1 or #2 pick this year. In fact, whoever does get those picks will NEVER trade them.

I said the Suns would have to include Amare because that's the only piece Minnesota would want.

They will want young talent. That's what they will want.

Sure they want young talent...Phoenix has that with players and picks.

Marion could be dealt to a third party for more youth

To write off Thomas's obvious value and just put "old"....

His contract's value isn't something amazing. He makes what 6 million?

That's the midlevel exception...certainly not this great bargaining chip you seem to think it is.

Counting Marion or Diaw as anything other than Salary Albatrosses is delusional.

Coach Blows!

Great series?. what are you watching. Suns were totally overmatched. Spurs were by far the better team. Your coach is a Jacka..!. Should learn to keep his match shut... interviews during game tonight says he has the better team, better talent.... so I guess they don't have the better coach... He cry's and cry's and looks like a jerk.... Learn to coach Mike and your team with far superior talent as you say might win a title one day..
GO LAKERS!

Garnetts salary is an albatross...You think Minny is going to get 20+ mill of pure gravy for contracts in return for KG? :lol:

Minny is going to have to eat salary back.

Um, highest ratings in the playoffs thus far. Most talked about series. Most anticipated series. You look foolish. Ban.

Appharently 90% of the board doesn't consider his contract a problem.

I doubt GMs do either.

I agree - I hate Amare and Diaw because they cost us this series.

If that's what you think, you didn't watch the absurdity off this series or the games at all. Did you happen to notice anything that has happened in the last 5 minutes of at least 5 of the 6 games of this series? Did you not realize that the foul calls AGAINST the Suns seemed to happen at critical moments to BENEFIT the Spurs? I'll tell you examples just the the last 2 games alone.
Game 5, the Suns were ahead by 5 pts with about 5 minutes left in the game, when amazingly enough, Ginobili shooting a 3, Nash runs at his arm up to try to challenge the shot, pulls his arm and tweaks his body AWAY from Ginobili....Ginobili then after the shot, REACHES HIS ARM OUT AND GRABS NASH'S ARM AND PULLS HIM TO THE FLOOR = the refs call the foul on Nash. One of two calls should have been made on that play and neither were called. It should have been either a NO CALL or an OFFENSIVE FOUL on Ginobili. Then with the Spurs UP BY 2, Nash beats Bowen along the baseline for a WIDE OPEN layup and Bowen smack Nash's off hand and causes his body out of whack so Nash misses the lay-up....NO FOUL CALLED ON BOWEN. That's 5 pts that SHOULD HAVE BEEN negated, the Suns would have pulled the game out.
Game 6, the Suns making a major run down by 7 with about 4 minutes to go in the game, Nash drives the lane with Bowen grabbing Nash's off hand knocking the ball to Finley...should have been a foul on Bowen. Again with just under 4 minutes to go, IMAGINE THAT, the same damn thing happens...NO FOUL CALL ON BOWEN. About 3 minutes to go in the game, the Suns down by 8, Raja barely pokes at Ginobili and the ball and Raja gets called for a foul. The very next trip down the floor for the Spurs, Ginobili SHOVES RAJA MORE THAN 10 FEET to get the ball in his hands and NO FOUL CALL ON GINOBILI.

It just amazes me how TRUE BASKETBALL fans can say anything negative about this Suns team in this series. Even with all the B.S. calls, no calls, and lack of punishment from the league offices, they stayed true to their style and higher standards, and didn't lower their standards and FIGHT or start pulling the low life injury causing fouls, unlike the "DIRTY" Spurs.

Stick up for our beloved Suns. Don't talk crap about them. They played his high standards and showed the younger generations of fans what clean basketball is about.

Yeah but the other enlightened 10% of the board knows that only a handful of teams can even trade for Garnett because of his salary. The money is hard to move...then as you stated Minny wants young talent in return. All that criteria makes its harder on Minny.

Good luck with that then.

Since you won't be posting here without Garnett, I guess we will be seeing you around.

You said it not me.

If we can rob Garnett for anything that includes Marion I will be jumping for joy.

Call me skeptical at best.

All I'm saying is I'm not that interested in the Same Suns team next year....did I say I wouldnt post or was that Chaplins welcome wagon idea?
