I'm going to try a post what I remember.

Green says that he is remaining positive. Says that there are 15 other teams with 4 or more losses and feels that we have just as much a chance to turn the season around as those other teams.

Said Charles Lee was cut partly because Swinton was injured. Hinted that we might bring Moses back to fill in as the kick returner after MJ brought up his Moses name.

Said that Josh didn't have a very good game. Wasn't sure if Warner was 100% yet. Hadn't made up his mind as to who will start at QB this week. Played devils advocate a little and talked about the strengthes and weaknesses of each QB.

Said that Parcels is a very good coach and that Dallas has a good defense. Also that their offense is one of the top in the league currently.

Says that the Cardinals have been built around the Defense. Needs the defense to show up for 4 quarters. Said the Defensive play will inspire the offense.

I found this interesting. Green mentioned that when he took over here that the top 10 paid players didn't work out with the rest of the team. He didn't like the fact that the team wasn't really a "Team". He wanted his players to work out together and hang out together in order to build the "Team" atmosphere.

Green says that the team now has a workout regime on par with other NFL teams. Says that strenght training has been inproved since he took over.

I don't see a whole lot of strength or technique improvement in the O line. Those guys get their asses kicked every game.

This I love. It's been sorely lacking in past years. Let's hope the O-line can somehow come together as a unit and put in a few decent performances.

My aunt has as much of a chance turning into my uncle as my grandmother has to turn into my grandfather.

If Green is trying to inspire by saying we have as much chance as the Texans, he's way off-base.

Presumably it means we need to sign a punt/kickoff returner to replace Swinton and so we cut Lee to make room for that.

He's saying Lee was cut in part to make a roster spot for Moses.

So because Swinton got hurt, we need to bring in someone else to return kicks? Therefore we need to cut someone to make room and that someone is Lee?

Man, sucks to be Lee...if that was really the reason he was cut.

Yup--but it sounds like that was only part of the reason.

cutting Charles Lee will affect the win total how? He's the 4th WR, who cares if he stays or gets cut?It will make no difference. Besides, the great Kevin Kasper is always available.

While watching the game Sunday it appeared to me that Warner was limping around while patroling the sidelines. I don't think he is ready to take the reins yet from a health point of view.

Lee has dropped a few passes, and then made errors on special teams. As a veteran, these are things you can't do if you want to keep your job. Why not give give one of our rookie WRs a look if a veteran is screwing up? I like this move.

I'd also love to see Moses come back. Swinton has gotten a little better, but he hasn't played all that good to think he's a lock for the return job.

I get the feeling that if Warner is healthly, Green will play him. I also get the feeling that as soon as Warner plays, he'll get sacked, get hurt, and Josh will be back in.

Agreed. I just don't think Warner can stand up to the amount of contact he's going to get with this OL and us throwing 40 times a game.

At this point in the season I don't know what Dennis Green is really thinking. Was Warner just a 1 year experiment? He hasn't really done anything to warrant the long-term contract he desires. That said, McCown is a FA also at the end of the season. I am no fan of McCown, but I suspect McCown will continue to start in order for the team to decide once and for all if he is worthy of a contract next season.

In all likelihood I don't see McCown lasting the season without injury either behind this line. He came very close on Sunday to having his knee destroyed on one play.

Or Sheldon.

Or possibly both (if they were to elevate Sheldon from the PS and then signed Moses to the PS).

So the Texans are 15 other teams now?

Hes saying that about half of the NFL have just as many loses. So there is no need to press the panic button or give up on the team when 15 other teams are in the same situation.
