I just want to get out of my chair and sucker punch him every time I see him on TV. How is this guy a credible analyst? He was nothing in the NBA but ESPN treats him like a genius...plus he was a thug when he was a player, right up there with Thug Fortson.

Does anyone have a .jpg pic of the sucker punch? If so, post it on this thread.

Thought I would mix up the topics a bit..

actually greg anthony was an adequate backup point. very good defender. and he happens to be extremely intelligent. anyone remember the story of his giving up his scholarship at unlv b/c his t-shirt business was so successful that he didn't need the scholarship? he's only guilty of throwing a single sucker punch and wearing a hideous shirt. it's not like he had a history of thuggery. i hated him for his attack on the suns, but i've let that go now. i like his takes.

Anthony would've been successful at anything he wanted to do. I'm told he interned or had a job at a commercial real estate firm in Las Vegas at some point during his career at UNLV -- no doubt set up by the towel biter. They were shocked when he fit right in and people assumed he was a veteran.

I find Greg to be an excellent analyst. He is knowledgable, eloquent, and can make his points. In his debates on NBA 2 Night and NBA Fastbreak, I find him to be the strongest of the group.

I would agree with you guys completely if he hadn't missed the point so badly on the issue of a 20 year old age limit the other day. The way he talked if Kobe Bryant, Kevin Garnet, LeBron James, etc. had not entered as high scores they would have never played in the NBA. It really was one bad argument and example after another.

Otherwise I usually like his take on things.

I actually like Greg Anthony's opinions. Of course not ALL THE TIME but it's better than Barkely and other TNT crew (well, Kenny Smith is alright).

He may not like Suns but that's understandable since almost nobody thinks we have a chance to win the Rings (even some of you fans!!!). Let us prove them wrong and at least get to the Final. :)

That way Greg Anthony will shut up and change his opinion.

The one I hate the most is actually Steve Kerr. I thought he was alright but the way he changes his opinions is making me SICK. One night when Spurs got almost 40-pt blown out by Mavs, he said Spurs was not ready..blah blah blah. And another night when Spurs won 2 OT games without Duncan and he was like "Spurs once again proves why they are the #1 team..blah blah blah". WTF?
