The starters played 30+ minutes, given the game doesnt really matter... although, still a win is better than a loss.

But Would of liked to see 1-2 of Nash/O'Neal play under 25 minutes.. and get experience for Dragic/Lopez.

the reason the starters played so much is because they want to win these last 2 games to finish only 1 game out of the playoffs.

Actually I think the starters are trying to help Steve Nash get a record. See link to Paul Coro's article from azcentral dated 4-13-09. This would be quite an accomplishment.

Steve Nash went 7 for 10 from the field, missing his first 3-point try in three games, to put himself within a game of becoming the first player in NBA history to post three seasons in which he has shot 50 percent from the field, 40 percent from 3-point range and 90 percent from the free throw line. His field goal percentage had been the only borderline number but he is now at 50.2 percent.

What's interesting about that Nash statistic is that he would have already accomplished it three straight years if not for a single missed free throw in '06-'07.

haha, Hill was cheating! ;)

The Rams had a play like this some years ago with Warner at qb. They are inside the red zone and getting set for the play. Warner stands up, surveys the defense, then turns around and angrily unsnaps his chinstrap. He starts walking back toward the sideline. The defense stands up out of their stance thinking Warner is calling a TO. But the rest of the Rams offense has not moved. Then they snap the ball and run in for a TD untouched. It was hilarious.

I didn't know that. It's amazing.

Also it's interesting to note the Suns have had five straight winning seasons with Nash at PG.

He doesn't Mainstreet he is one of the Amare apologist and thinks the team should be built around a knucklehead that can't keep himself on the floor!

I guess if you don't like winning.

Winning what? 50 wins and 1st round out with certainty with an aging Nash dominating the ball and deliver it on BOTH ENDS of the court? I'd rather take the risk of losing more to develop a new and young core for the future. Is that too much to ask?:bang:

It will happen... the Suns are moving to get younger. Keeping Nash will only help until the Suns have a better PG that eventually will replace him. If and when that happens I'm sure there will be a mutual parting of the ways. The Suns need another defensive 4/5 in the frontcourt (maybe two) if Shaq is leaving and I'd like the Suns to draft another PG.

+1
Hope by 2010 we will have a clear identity. Even though we don't have a pick next year we have got some money to spend on free agents as Shaq's 20M is off the books and we dealt with Amare's extension.
The chemistry has been up and down this season, its time to see some more consistency before the huge makeover in 2010.
