Remember how we all said that the Suns losses when Nash didn't play proved that he was the MVP?
If we apply that logic to Dirk, his not showing up for the GS series resulted in them getting whooped by a 42-40 team, so it proves he is the MVP. And he didn't have to actually sit out any games to do it!
We will probably all feel sorry for Dirk by the end of next year, asssuming he has been voted by the media as the league MVP. Just imagine what is going to happen to his FT percentage on the road - every time he steps to the line the crowd will break out with "M-V-P, M-V-P" chants! Poor, poor Dirkie... how humiliating.
