It's not ringing any bells for me, not even slightly. Gonna have to google it although I'm pretty sure it's going to turn out to be a football, baseball, basketball or hockey movie. But you can rule out Hoosiers, the Natural, Major League (or ML3), Necessary Roughness, Bull Durham, Youngblood, Slap Shot, Caddyshack or Damn Yankees - I pretty much have those movies covered.

So I googled it. I'm not surprised I didn't get it as I've yet to see it but I am surprised someone else hasn't come up with it. If memory serves it was a reasonably popular movie here when it came out (sorry for the hint that the movie isn't about Bingo in the 40's).
