Dude, as you said, you're not very good at this... ha!

So you obviously googled it, eh?once people start quoting good movies I will do better
So you obviously googled it, eh?
He's right though, an obscure quote from a very NOT obscure movie. I'd be surprised if a movie buff/critic would get it, let alone anybody on this board.
Lemme guess. Googled it too?I've still never seen it even though we do own the DVD/Blu-ray combo pack.

I think we need to start being less obscure, because this is moving slower than a snail
Well, it was posted on Tuesday at 9:53pm PST, so we're well over 24 hours later after posting, I think it's safe to say that anyone who Googled it or the original poster himself (Bert) could reveal it.
Muwahahaha, so I will: Avatar
"Mother is the name for God on the lips and hearts of all children." LOVE this quote, and love this movie.
You are correct, sir! Your turn...The Crow. Not my favorite movie but it was certainly one of my son's favorites. I watched it with him often. But since it's actually a noted quote from literature, I'll wait for confirmation that I've chosen the same movie you're using.
Oh dangit I know this one too so I'm not googling it yet because I know it will come to me! (hopefully)Okay, so I'm going to use a line from one of my favorite movies. I say again, from a MOVIE.
"In an insane society, the sane man must appear insane."

Your previous post made it sound like it has been done in other mediums, perhaps television? So I'm struggling to think of television remakes of movies or movies from television shows. If I'm off on that, then I'll never figure it out.I'm hoping someone will come up with it Bert but I suspect it will have to be googled out. It's been used in many forms by many people but the movie I'm looking for credits it as a Spock line from a Trek episode. The movie I'm looking for is one of those hidden gem comedies (IMO) from the early 80's.

Of course, if you're referencing Star Trek in your previous post, then I'm screwed.
Okay, so there's been about a hundred views with no takers so I'm guessing no one's seen the movie. The quote is from SERIAL, a satiric comedy from 1980 starring Martin Mull, Tuesday Weld, Sally Kellerman, Bill Macy, Christopher Lee, Peter Bonerz and Tom Smothers.
So here goes, a quote from a more well known movie:
"Second shelf is mine. That's where I keep my root beers and my double thick Oreo cookies. Nobody touches the second shelf but me."

Read it aloud in his voice. LOL
That is the grandpa from The Lost Boys.
