Frank Kaminsky is my Hero.
Steve Smith - A little long in the tooth. Not what he once was. Plus, we face him week one against a rookie QB in his first game. Not worried
Hakeem Nicks - Worries me
Mike Wallace - Along with Hines Ward, we may be screwed.
DeSean Jackson - By this point, PP7 should have his feet wet. This is a tough cover, but if he can get physical on him, it might not be as bad as you think
Michael Crabtree - Far from dynamic. Closer to mediocre. And with Alex Smith behind center again, this could be a walk in the park, even for a rookie.
Miles Austin - Runs hot and cold. Had 1000 yards last season with 3 games at 140+ and 9 games with less than 50.
Sid Rice (Twice!) - We'll see. Im not 100% convinced he is anything more than a one-season wonder. I also am curious to see if he is fully recovered from the hip injury or if he has trouble with movement. And isn't Tavaris Jackson throwing to him?
-----------
Some of these are legit concerns and some are overblown. I'm more concerned with our pass rush to be honest. That's going to be the difference between us getting shredded week in and week out and having actual control of the passing game.
It does go unnoticed that we play two of the toughest divisions in the league next season, which hopefully curbs some people's expectations for the season. PP7 will be thrown to the dogs for sure but many have suggested he was the most pro-ready draft pick this season.
