Rex Ryan loves this guys fight. Bet Rex was licking his lips when he heard that he decked his QB.

Why is this a HA HA? Nothing really funny about it. It is a smart move to get him into Bills camp and get all the info he can. He was a late round pick, so his salary won't even count against the cap. It is a pretty smart move.

the Ha Ha is at the Jets. The news just keeps getting worse for them, having him sign with their closest enemy. It is like Rex making their horrible situation even worse.

Rex coached him last year. He would know if it was worth the risk. They fact he came from a Division rival is just gravy.

Maybe Rex just thinks IK's feet are sexy.

I guess I'm the only one but there is no way I sign a guy that just broke a starting QB's jaw like that. How would any of us take it if He had broken Carson Palmers jaw. If I was the Jets I would be gunning for the bills. Anything to hurt that team would be a priority.

While this is true, if the reports are true, if he DIDN'T hit Geno, he would of been a far, far bigger man then Geno.

Geno put him in a tough spot, saying he would pay the money, but not doing it. Now weeks into camp, when he said he'd pay him the following happened

In the middle of the locker room, he put his finger in his face (allegedly making contact with it), and told him 'what are you going to do about it'.

Basically punk-ing him in front of the other guys in the locker room and trying to weasel his way out of the debt. Then egging him on to do something.

Them there are fighting words, by Geno, and while what IK Enemkpali did was wrong and shouldn't of happened, humans are not perfect, and Geno was completely in the wrong up until that point in multiple ways, and was literally asking for it.

It doesn't seem anyone had Geno's back, not even the coaching staff.

So while it definitely was wrong, I'm not going to go overboard blaming a guy too harshly who was egged on by a guy who was asking for it in front of who knows how many in the locker room. How many other guys would of resisted? My guess is... not that many put in that position inside or outside of the NFL.

Geno had it coming. I'm glad the kid is getting a 2nd chance.

Yeah, Geno got his jaw broken, but he was being a grade A+ jerk about the plane ticket and his broken promise to go to IK's football camp. It's one thing to be a jerk to some schlub you meet on the street, but if you starting jerking the chain of a defensive player whose testosterone level is probably around 600 because they are in training camp... don't be surprised if it ends in violence.

He must really like the guy and doesn't think very positive about Geno.

The move is a classic Ryan move. Buddy did stuff like this when he was a head coach in the NFL.

Geno deserved to get dropped; sounds like a great guy to have leading your football team.

If there is any truth to it (and it's what we've been hearing all over the place so I think so), it's quite an indictment of what people think of Geno in the locker room.

No one broke it up... meaning it either happened too quickly, they didn't think anything was going to happen, or they wanted him to get knocked down a peg. People saw it, but no one broke it up beforehand? That's crazy with the supposed leader and a QB for that to happen.

IK is gone, the players would be well within their right to lie now and back up their guy... he's supposed to be the QB.

That they aren't, and even saying he deserved it, with no reason to... since they don't have to see IK anymore, is pretty damning.

That the coaches even said it was 'high school' stuff, and that Geno might not get his job back, is also telling.

Put it all together and Geno doesn't seem like a good leader, and doesn't seem like he is instilling confidence in the players to battle with him.
