Interested in AZ....or any?

I'd be surprised if he'd want to be OC of a team with no qb and no o line

he did take us to the SB and coordinated the best offense in football the last 3 years.

so yea....i'll take him
And called one of the dumbest plays of all time, one that eventually cost us the game.

I agree Haley could use a little emotional intelligence work, but I DOUBT the 50 year is going to change anything at this point.

After the Bruce Arians debacle, where I guess people were lying to themselves that he would change his personality, I think some fans need o realize you have to work with people how they are. Its not like they are going to change their ways, when their ways got them to this point in their careers.

If the Cardinals hire Haley, then they have to realize they are hiring an abrasive, A-hole. Not that there is anything wrong with that, he has been quite successful with that approach.
Leader of men?

Playoffs?

Someone linked Kent Somer's tweet somewhere(I thought it was this one) that he he had an interview w/ Bruce Arians about the Cardinals HC opening. It's probably already been mentioned and linked elsewhere but here it is. BTW he likes Baker Mayfield and Mason Rudolph:

"There are so many big, tall, talented guys. I like Baker (Oklahoma’s Baker Mayfield). His enthusiasm, because it’s real, not false. Got to curb it a little, maybe, but maybe not. Guys respect "real" in the locker room. If that’s who you really are, they’ll follow you. There are maybe five guys, 6-3, 6-4, 6-5 with big arms. Mason Rudolph (Oklahoma State) beating my Hokies in the bowl game, dropping dimes in there. It was like, "Wow, this kid is really good, too."

I liked these from that Q & A.

Q: What you accomplished in five years is obvious, but what was your biggest mistake?

A: Should have called a running play instead of throwing it to David Johnson in Detroit this year and kept him for the rest of the year. The injury things, you can’t control. I don’t think you live with regrets. I have nothing but great memories.

Q: If you had to leave a note for the next coach in the upper right-hand drawer of the Cardinals office with your words of advice, what would it say?

A: Be yourself and stay strong. Don’t let anybody try to make you something you’re not.

Q: Do you feel for the guy, following someone with a big personality?

A: No, Michael and Steve, they know. First of all, he’s not going to have the luxury I had. I knew it was going to be my last job. I didn’t have to be politically correct all the time, worrying about if I got fired, could I get another job? This is it, so I could say whatever the hell I felt like. (The next coach) doesn’t have that opportunity because he’s going to be a great young coach.

Q: "Politically correct all the time"? So you’re saying sometimes you were politically correct?

A: Maybe a couple.

Haley was our defensive coordinator?

Still pisses me off that they didn't throw a flag on the hit in the back on, I think, Hightower. But Haley tried to get cute instead of running the fade to Fitz.

True but he did help us get to the Super Bowl...first and only time. He also helped Pitt do the same thing and run one of the best offenses in the league for several years. Great players but doesn't that also apply to Belichick? Brady is super human.

I would be very happy with Haley as OC...knowing some challenges.

Report: Browns hire Todd Haley

The deal is done: The Browns have hired Todd Haley as their offensive coordinator, Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

Haley, 50, is expected to call plays under Hue Jackson, who doubled as the play-caller his first two seasons. Haley likely gets a rookie quarterback to coach, with the Bro

Good for Haley. He is in a comfortable situation. Has an Offensive geared HC. Gets to help out a QB from this draft. Nowhere to go but up. Gets to coach against the Steelers and the QB who had him fired.

Now we're really going to see what kind of OC Haley is. If he can make the Browns offense fun to watch, head coaching options will come knocking again.
