Maybe if they let Q pick the OC so it's someone he can get along with, maybe he will stay regardless of the money.

This makes Haley the first Cardinal assistant to leave for a HC job since 1997.

Trivia: Joe Bugel also became HC of the Raiders in 1997.

Can you name the only other ARIZONA Cardinal HC to ever be a head coach somewhere else?

Oh, now stop it. Eventhough he would be AWESOME!!!!! It is not going to happen.

Losing Haley sucks big time, but since Whiz is an offensive minded coach I think we will be OK.

What is interesting is that Haley, and Boldin look to be leaving. I think Warner just might pack it in as well. Power running here we come........

you're right Rugby, losing Haley and Q could spell the retirement of Kurt. Warner did say he wanted to look at the moves the Cards made. Losing Haley is strike1.

Wiz gave out a statement after the Haley Presser was over. In it he stated this was a long time coming and they already put into motion contingency plans if Haley did in fact leave. So a replacement or plan will be put into place really soon, or probably already has. They just dont want to announce anything today to take away any of Haleys thunder.

Not Martz, that's certain.
Sorry but thats bologna.....and most definately not "certain."
Warner's relationship rift didn't involve Martz so much as it did Zygmunt/Shaw.....and a % of the fanbase that felt that Bulger was the young up & coming QB of the future....
I seriously doubt Warner cares about running a balanced offense, he wouldn't mind putting up another 4,000 yd 35 TD kind of year next season and having Martz calling the plays would probably guarantee those kind of numbers, provided he can stay upright in Martz' spread West coast hybrid offense.
Just sayin'

A perfect fit for what Cardinals have been doing offensively, not to mention the obvious Warner connection.
Martz is a great OC & I would pursue this.....the original Mad Mike can't hurt your team as long as he's not your HC.

tell that to the 49ers

The 49ers were a mess before Martz got there though.
The Cards have a QB & recievers that can execute his offense, obviously.
It seems that all the Martz talk is a moot point though, according to the ESPN story claiming that Whiz will be calling the plays next year.

Don Coryell?

Coryell never coached in Arizona. Question was only for former Arizona Cardinal Head Coaches.

Other Cardinal coaches would be Charley Winner (Jets) and Wally Lemm (Oilers).
