Magnanimous
My vote is for Deadmau5
My guess at the next 4 years:
Journey
Bon Jovi
Phil Collins
Eric Clapton
Definitely better than the old "Up With People" and Disney Shows of the 70's & 80's.Can't beat U2...We may need a poll.
The visual end of the production was outstanding, but I thought that the audio part of the program was horrendous. I had to turn my tv up a lot to be able to hear the words and the instrumental was way too loud in comparison to the vocal mix. Finally toward the end the audio finally started to improve but I thought it was horrendous at the beginning.
I would love to see Muse..... I love U2 also.
Of the "older" groups, Bon Jovi is a good choice. MC Hammer would be hilarious. lol
It might turn into a family ***** type thing..... Maybe they announce a 5 year deal with American Idol or X-Factor to have the top 10 do some version of their tour.
We also haven't mentioned Mariah Carey, Jennifer Lopez, Zepplin Reunion(?), Van Halen, Police reunion(?), Aerosmith, Billy Joel, Tim & Faith, and finally, Kenny Chesney.
How about "Queen"?
Heard today that 113 million Super Bowl viewers; 114 million Halftime show viewers, making this year's Super Bowl Halftime Show the most watched television show in the history of TV.
I missed it.
NFLPRGUY via twitter said:Super Bowl XLV is the most-watched tv show ever w/ total 162.9m viewers topping last year's 153.4m
Queen died the day Freddy Mercury died. No one can replace him IMO.
What might have made the halftime "interesting" would have been Madonna emerging from a cornacopia of fruits and vegetables belting out:
I'm a Vegan

Reuters:Not sure if it is accurate, but this states the game itself peaked at 162.9m.
Madonna's halftime performance, airing from 8 to 8:30 p.m. ET, was watched by 114 million viewers, and scored a 47.4 household rating, narrowly beating out the overall averages for the game, which averaged 111.3 million total viewers and a 47.0 household rating.
Ratings tracker Nielsen on Monday said the Super Bowl on the NBC network was the most-watched TV program in U.S. history, eclipsing the 111.0 million who watched 2011's game. An extra three million tuned in for Madonna's glitzy, Cleopatra-themed performance, giving the Material Girl the distinction of having the most-watched Super Bowl halftime show ever.
