Hall of Fame C Carter mourned in Florida (AP)

More than 1,000 people have turned out for a memorial in Florida to honor Hall of Fame catcher Gary Carter. Another Hall of Fame catcher, Johnny Bench, eulogized Carter, saying "no words are adequate" to describe his greatness. Carter's three children described him as a devoted father who was as impressive off the field as on it.
