is horry the best clutch shooter of all time?

what do you call MJ then?

i said one of, if not the best. MJ is probably better because he was normally guarded well when he made his buzzer beaters. i suppose Mj would be better, but comparing mj to horry just isnt fair

but it is somehow fair to compare horry to the rest of the players in the hall of fame? are you now making up stupid exceptions to the HOF criteria to allow for crappy role players to make it?

Give me a break - Horry was generally left wide open. Holy moly, let's get real. There is no way Horry will make the Hall of Fame.

The HoF is primarily a recognition of individual excellence (as far as players are concerned), something Horry will never be associated with. On his best scoring year he averaged 12.0 for the regular season. In the playoffs he never got above 14 ppg. His only honor is All-Rookie 2nd team. I'm sure those 7 rings look real nice on his trophy case, but they won't get them into the Hall of Fame, which only has 134 players.
