From this veteran to all those in uniform defending our country today, God bless you and come home safely. We appreciate what you are doing.

And thanks Fox Sports for taking the NFL pregame show to Afghanistan. :)

I'd like to take the time to recognize the thousands serving at Luke AFB home of the thunderbolts. I miss being there and have great memories! i loved my time in AZ and would return any chance that I get. The local community was great to us. I got to attend Nascar, NBA playoffs(the dirk buzzer beater and raja takedown of kobe), NFL, and NHL all for free. So thank you not only to the vets, but also the local people of AZ who made this vet proud to be a american and a guest of your wonderful state. Today is a great day for all americans. we are all one family for one day at least! Oh i can't forget the longhorns fiesta bowl last year. it wasn't free unfortunately, but I wouldn't have been there otherwise lol!

Yeah, that Fox thing was awesome. Very cool of them to do it, and all the soldiers had fun.

I and vets all over the world appreciate the recognition, guys. Beyond that, as a vet myself, I'd like to thank everyone still on active duty, standing the long watch and making sure we stay safe. I still shake hands with servicemembers I see in public and make sure to thank them.

I second that. USAF Veteran from the 80's.

Thank you Shane and all ASFN Veterans and Veterans everywhere. Your duty and sacrifice are extraordinary!

To three other veterans that I think of on this day:

RIP Walter B.J. Mitchell, Jr. (my dad)

RIP Pat Tillman

RIP Jim Skane

God bless all of you!

Yes sir. God Bless them all.

A belated shout out to my father-in-law, Ralph Montoya. Served our country in the Pacific Theater, 14 missions in the Pacific theater as a tial gunner in the B24 Liberator. On his last mission, plane shot down somewhere over the vast expanse of the south pacific. Two days lost at sea. He made it back. Most of his crew did not.

God Bless him. And God bless us all.

My greatest debt of gratitude goes out to everyone that has served in our Military. The freedoms that we sometimes take for granted came at the expense of so many that were willing to lay down their lives for this Country. God bless our Veterans & God bless the USA.
