What's frustrating about Bol Bol situation, is even in spot minutes, you see he makes guys alter their shots, and look to see where he is on drives to the basket. He's the one dude we have that other teams pay attention to on the defensive end. Yet he gets zero minutes. I get minutes are tight, but when we go defense for offense, or just in second unit time, get this guy out there. We are way overplaying our top guys in minutes right right now. Bud has to get them more rest. You have to trust your bench. It's a LONG season.

I think the main problem is that he makes bone-headed play on defense. He misses rotations, which likely makes coaches pull their hair out. I actually agree with you, but I understand why Bud won't play him.

However, we have seen our other guys be turn over machines on offense, and that's OK. Not arguing with you, just stating the guys Bud is leaning on are not perfect either. When you NEED shot blocking or at least altered shots in the paint, and you leave your tallest dude on the bench, it makes you wonder about said coach. There's a reason going small with KD worked, because he's a 7 footer that can block shots. Bud went tiny last night and it cost us.

Yeah but just one lone wolf can destroy your team defense. If the other players can't trust Bol to fill his role on D it won't be long before we'll have a team full of individuals on defense. The last thing a player wants is to look like a fool because he did his job and someone else didn't rotate or block out or switch or whatever.

Don't get me wrong, we really could use a disciplined Bol out there especially with KD injured.

I trust Bud has a reason for not playing Bol Bol. He gets to see him practice, whereas we don't.

Collin Gillespie will have MRIs today on his sprained ankle, per Valley Suns coach John Little.

We all knew he was a long shot project anyway. If Bud doesn't think he should crack the rotation? Like you said....I trust that. I don't think he has much value but if we can move him by the trade deadline we probably should for someone more likely to contribute.

Maybe Booker is hampered by something, but also I noticed Beal is the one who gets it started in the first quarter now. Previously with Monty, Book would get it going for most of the first quarter. Now Beal seems to be that guy. I also noticed Beal is mostly on there in the 4th as a decoy, its like he's not even a true option.

I guess the rotations and lack of adjustments left a sour taste in my mouth after that lost. Or maybe it was the play calling.

He's a minimum and we're in the second apron. He won't be traded. He'll be waived.

vogel took beal out around the 6 minute mark of every first quarter when we were healthy - this is definitely new for book tho - monty and vogel had book play the first

That was addressed a few days ago. He's suffering from some illness. Maybe a week ago that news came out. Hopefully it's cleared up soon.

They said it was food poisoning. Sometimes that can take a couple weeks to recover from.

A number of former Suns including Frank Kaminsky on USA Basketball Men's AmeriCup Qualifying Team.
