Poll coming with what, if anything, should be done to Harbaugh for sprint onto the field at the end of the first half yesterday. Tomlin got a hefty fine and the Steelers face the loss of a draft choice for an admittedly different situation.

report I read said Q got on him about it, thought that was rather comical.

He got the penalty that they put this rule in for last offseason. I don't see what else they can do to him besides the 15-yard penalty ?

He ran on the field AFTER the play was over. No big deal, 15 yard penalty was appropriate. Most coaches don't even get that.

Is there video? Can we watch that on a continuous loop during the remainder of the week? Potential Headline:

"Q gets into it with another coach during a playoff run!!!"

A fine if anything but if he gets nothing aside from the 15 yard penalty I'm OK with it. And, in reality, you really can't compare the 2 incidents. Tomlin's effected a play in progress. Harbaugh's didn't.

Considering that the league fines players for something as trivial as wearing a non-approved cap at a press conference, I see no problem fining him $25,000 or so. The penalty amounted to nothing because the Niners kicked off 15 yards further back with 5 seconds remaining in the half.

Actually he has to be fined. He was only the field of play during the play.

Hey, none of us like the Hawks or Niners & plenty of guys here rip Carrol & Harbaugh repeatedly. But if either were coaching the Big Red you guys would think they were the best thing since sliced bread...hell BA went bizerk a few times himself at the officials too this year, they have that right IMO given the inconsistencies in officiating each game. It is what it is & I think it's ridiculous for a thread about cheating, bitching at the refs, etc almost every day cause it aint gonna change jack squat. ;)

The Niners & Hawks are pretty damn good so I'm gonna give them the credit they are due. Our time is coming...hopefully.

Btw Harbaugh was right for screaming & yelling on the field given the play was a TD :p Off my soapbox now lol

Thing is, Harbaugh the Younger is one of those that repeated breaks the rule of coaches being on the field. I have long felt that it is something that the NFL should enforce more rigidly.

I agree whole heartedly that no coach should be allowed on the field especially when the plays are happening, thus I blame the NFL & it's refs for not enforcing the rules. The Tomlin Stealer fiasco was a joke because he knew what he was doing the entire time & that wasn't the 1st time I had seen him do it. Jeez

Look at college football. I bet I saw Auburn offensive coaches on the field 15-20 times while sending in plays, especially Malzan. :bang: Its not just an NFL thing trust me & probably worse in the NCAA?

Bitch all he wants, but you can't be on the field. Tomlin was fined 100k so harbaugh has to be fined at least something.

Harbaugh is on the field all the time. It is ridiculous. Our seats are on the visiting side lines at Cardinals stadium and he was on the field frequently. I don't know how he doesn't get way more fines/suspensions, etc as it is really poor sportsmanship. No other coach I've seen in the NFL comes close.

He's on the field so much that you'd think he's still playing.

Drives me crazy. It's like he thinks he's special or something.

I wonder if he hated them when they failed to flag the Ninets for 12 in the huddle right before that play.
