She swears this movie is a classic and that I am one of the only people on earth who have never heard of or seen this movie.

Saw it. Bunch of kids vs all kinds of monsters. I think the 20th Anniversary Edition DVD just came out last year. Fun flick.

Classic movie. If you see it for the first time as an adult, probably not so great. But if you saw it as a kid: CLASSIC.

I was 20 when it came out, and I've never heard of it. Maybe it was targeted at a younger audience.

Interesting that it was directed by the same guy that directed Night of the Creeps. Now that is a cult classic!

My brother and I love this movie, have probably seen it over 100 times. Classic movie!

I haven't seen it in 15 years but I suspect it would be high on the unintentional comedy scale

Neat little film. However, the acting from the kids was not impressive.
