Everywhere he's been? Like being a scarecrow while manning ran the colts? The dude does nothing for me. His lions teams were decent but nothing remarkable

And yet Matt Stafford was at his best with Caldwell in charge & never been the same since. Hmmm

Well, I like Kingsbury. He as the OC for the Manziel Heisman year and those two just lit it up. Say what you will about JF after that, but that year was special. Kingsbury took the Texas Tech job after that season, which I think really hurt Manziel. He just ran amuck after he left.

Be careful with the young wet behind the ear types....LA is good but they are stacked.....Chicago is who we thought they were ....at least for this year. I'd take Caldwell in an instant. Not down for the young flashy offensive scheme guys. Last year everybody wanted Flip that would have been just as bad as Wilks

What about Vic Fangio(stolen from Kent Somers)?

I can't quite remember who brought up his name on the NFL Channel. But, they said that whatever room you put him in, he's no doubt the smartest guy there. Dry wit guy who his players love. Obviously, we'd need to hire a strong OC, but Fangio is held in high esteem.

What has Kingsbury really done garner such buzz? It seems coach-bro is getting over hyped to me...

His offenses have scored a ton of points. It's that simple. After a season of unwatchable offensive football, he may not be a bad choice, as long as we bring in a strong DC.

And it didn't mean wins. This is head coach not offensive coordinator

We may interview as the per the rooney rule and that's about it.
Do candidates get paid for showing up for interview re Rooney rule. Is Rooney Rule one of those things in our society that once created can never go away in spite of irrelevance?

P S if Zac Taylor is hired as HC by any team do they also get his brother, Press Taylor?

I would think so. From the article I read he may be a better offensive mind than Zac.

Too soon to say. So far, I'm not blown away by any of the people being interviewed.

I do hope whoever is hired brings in Todd Bowles as D.C.
One of the keys to future success will be maximizing the defensive talent already on the roster and I think Bowles could and would do that.
And if the hire is a newbie, Bowles has the experience to be a sounding board.

I still think there is a coach or 2 on one of the Wild Card weekend teams they want to interview. We won't know about that until teams are eliminated this weekend.

Folks in the know about Texas football went to great lengths to explain how difficult it is to recruit at Texas Tech for football. His offenses were GREAT! Hire a solid DC, just as the Rams did & I'll take my chances. This being said, I understand your point.

I’m officially on the Kliff Kingsbury bandwagon.

It's funny. K9 got it started, got us all fired up about it, and then jumped off.

He is on the Dan Campbell HC, Kingsbury OC bandwagon though.

I am still KK all the way
