Our FO brought him in as a backup. Our coaching staff decided he was the starter.

Whiz had all the slack in the world after what he did the past two seasons but he has decided to use it all to hang himself.

DA has proven to be so bad that I would be squirming about even thinking he could be a backup.

Why not just put a cardboard cutout of a QB on your bench and laugh about it?

Say, "I'm saving money sue me."

I'd have more respect for that.

this... and more like it is what makes ASFN amazing. It's not the great wins (few and far between) it's the HORRENDOUS moments and the hilarity that comes from them, on the field, in the locker room and on this board that makes this place so addictive.

go on folks. entertain me for a couple hours. it's great.

It's funny someone mentioned the movie Red Dawn because sometime during the third quarter I fantasized about the mass execution scene except instead of the poor townspeople being gunned down I hoped it was the entire Cardinals roster.

i'm sorry, but if you guys don't cherish these nights when EVERY POSTER somehow manifests the comic chops of the SNL Writers from the 70's, you're in the wrong place.

I love how he says "I'm just telling you what I do." No, you are SHOWING us what you do, which is not play good football.

When I suck at my job, I rarely laugh about it.

DA isn't the only reason this team sucks, but he's definitely a big part of the problem.

Man. What a crapfest tonight.

Oh I won't argue. I thought his signing was a bad idea at the time but semi-tolerable because I went in with the idea that he was the backup and maybe our coaching staff was able to fix him.

Unfortunately we've learned the only way to fix DA now involves a pair of gardening shears

It's hard to believe someone who's so passionate about how much effort he puts into his profession could be so bad at it.

I've been putting this off for a while now but after tonight it is time to say it. This is the SAME OL' CARDINALS.

It's back to only admitting I'm a Cards fan when someone directly asks me.

It's back to reading and posting on this board much like a addict uses a support group.

It's back to avoiding all national media stories and highlights on the Cardinals so as not to become ill.

It's back to putting up with the jeers from any other teams football fans and having nothing to say in rebuttal.

It's back to the realization that I am apparently dumb enough to be a fan of the worst football franchise on the planet.

I could go on and on much like the Cardinals losing seasons but I unlike the Bidwills will spare you.

How in the #$@# did our FO not see this comming, HOW!

I'm shaking I'm so PO'd right now, it's called righteous anger, anger built on seeing a dumb move, calling a dumb move then having your nose forced down into other peoples turds, like you did something wrong.

Avenge me!!!!!!

This is pretty much all Jason Smith is talking about on ESPN radio. He's calling DA the gift that keeps on giving and even made his own Coors Light commercial. Tons of emails and texts about it from listeners, too. Next, he's going to relate it to Good Fellas, for some reason.

We're officially the laughing stock of the league again. You're welcome, Detroit Lions.

Suspend don't cut DA!

I disagree with cutting Anderson. This unprovoked outburst should result in a four-game suspension WITHOUT pay. As I understand the rules, if he is cut he draws his full pay. Do what Philly did with Owens, and suspend him for the maximum allowable time permissible which I believe is FOUR GAMES. I don't want this jerk getting any more undeserved money than absolutely necessary.

There is no way that his conduct last night goes totally unpunished. It should at least draw a one-game suspension from the league if not the Cardinals.

How could the Cardinal front office be so totally clueless as to sign this clown in the first place? Second worst season pass completion percentage in NFL history? Between signing Anderson and Porter, and losing Dansby, Warner, and Boldin this past offseason was nothing short of disastrous.

For a guy that claims to want a tough team, Whisenhunt made a fatal error in allowing the toughest guy on the team in Anquan Boldin to finish his career in Baltimore IMO. The team that was on the field with San Francisco Monday night was timid and cowardly and back on its heels all night. From Anderson unloading the ball early to avoid getting hit, to Doucet hugging the ground instead of fighting for a first down, to Roberts running backwards on a punt return instead of taking it up the gut to get some positive yardage, the Cardinals looked like a team lacking the toughness that Boldin brought. Sorry Whis, but you brought this on yourself by allowing Rod Graves to totally bungle the Boldin situation. Now we fans have to live with it. Thanks for nothing!

[addendum]
There is precedent for at least fining reprehensible conduct. Didn't the Tennessee owner and the Jets coach both get fined for flashing the single finger salute? Fine Anderson!! If impersonating a professional football player were a crime, he'd be in Leavenworth right now.

On a side note, did anyone else the baby move by Alex Smith? When the camera was on him, he puts his helmet up to block the picture. He had to know they were talking about the team winning without him and decided to cover his face. What's with these guys? It's not nearly as bad as what DA did but no wonder these temas are floundering with the immaturity they have at the QB position.

Sommers let DA off the hook!

In fairness..... I liked his answer. Too bad I hate him. If he just sucked that would be one thing. But he costs us players every week almost.
