pretty poor decision making at the end of the game. but we put up a pretty good fight against the 2 time defending champs.

any word on when Bledsoe might come back?

Okafor is done. He is not going to play, and he was never going to play. If there was a chance he could play, he would have been rehabbing in Phoenix.
Okafor is a just a contract.

He refused to even meet with the team when the Suns were in NY where he is "rehabing."

The Morris twins went 5 for 17, do we ever win a game when they both have bad days? I'm not sure if that's evidence of how important they are to us or if it's a good reason to get rid of both of them.

The whole Morris situation is just weird. If the Suns could trade the 2 of them for one similar player that's even slightly more consistent I'd be thrilled.

The problem is, they play almost to the star level on their good nights and the rest of the time they play like they are on their way out of the league. If we could trade them for one forward that matches their good days I'd be all for a trade.

Plumlee and Len played a combined 20 minutes against the worst rebounding team in the NBA.

Hornacek has to end to his love with the small ball. The last Suns coach to fall in love with small ball was D'Antoni and look how his career has been since leaving PHX.

Miami is just one of those teams that are better than us. There really is no shame in losing to them.

My point about acquiring Gordon Hayward remains true...LeBron shot 4-3, 1-6 from 3 for 13 pts against Hayward and the Jazz...and LeBron shot 12-22, 2-5 from 3 for 37 pts against Tucker and the Suns.

Not saying Tucker is a bad defender cause of that but Hayward is a better one and a better all around player at that.

I think our reliance on jump shooting and no inside scoring what so ever is highlighted in almost all our losses.

Bad decisions and passes killed us tonight. Love tuckers heart but man he tries to do too much sometimes.

And that dragic-green ball out of bounds was hard to watch.

In retrospect to last night's game, the Suns allowed the Heat too many lay-ups. It's hard to win when the opposing team is getting to the rim with ease.

We've gone from having a surprisingly plucky defense to a routinely sucky one. I lay some of that on the loss of Bledsoe but this trend started before Eric went down.

The difference is Bledsoe. A tough defender on the perimeter is absolutely essential--especially on the opposing pg.

It's because we play small too much. Plumlee & Len are hardly in the game.

Without Plumlee & Len, who do we have to protect the rim?

Earlier in the season Len wasn't available and Plumlee was only logging 22 minutes a game and we were playing very good defense.

Teams have watched tape and figured out how to attack the Suns efficiently in the paint.

Maybe but they're doing that with Plumlee on the court too. Our defense is porous right now and watching it I can't see how it can be blamed simply on "small ball" as you typically do. Their wing players are penetrating at will and beating our defenders off the dribble. Their forwards and centers are getting to whatever spot on the floor they choose. This isn't small ball, it's bad ball.

Bledsoe would have made a big difference in this game. What we needed against that hard trapping defense is good dribble penetration. Ish showed the weakness by routinely driving as soon as he received the ball, exposing seams and getting to the basket with ease. Bledsoe would have made mince meat out of that. So would Dragic but he was where the trapping started so it's hard for him to do so.
