Seriously, what would you do if you were GM in such a situation referred to in the poll?

In this imaginary world, how did we acquire the #1 overall pick?

My imagination only turned on after we had the pick, not before. But, if it helps turn your imagination on, let's say we had acquired the Jags pick a couple years ago in a trade for _____________ (fill in the blank, for instance our R1 draft pick from 2017.)

I voted yes, while wondering if in the past any teams were actually in such a situation. The Chargers come to mind with Brees while drafting Rivers. Not sure to what degree that is comparable.

Yes, because we would be 0-16.

Lawrence is a better prospect than Murray so yes, I would draft Lawrence.
But Murray isn't a prospect anymore
Murray has the talent to be better then Lawrence and I know the mental aspect is still a question mark
Just say we should not be so down on him after a tough loss, I know one of the worst performance in the last 2 years but don't forget Murray had a very good season overall
4 Points could have helped him this year in some way or another, directly or indirectly

1)wr2/wr3
2)adequate defense
3)coaches, playcalling, adjustments
4)kicker

Murray performances could have taken this team to 10/11 wins even with his flaws

If we’re 0-16 then absolutely.

If Murray was out all year than we trade it for 4 first round picks.

If we acquired it from Jacksonville 3 years ago and we still have this season, trade it for 4 first round picks.

Invest all our chips in Murray and load up on talent.

My wife would never be on board with Lawrence. She doesn't like boys that are prettier than her.

I disagree. I don't believe Murray has the ceiling of Lawrence. Now, I am not saying I would give up Murray and multiple first to move up, but if it was a 1 for 1...I would make the deal.

No. I would hold the pick ransom and try to get the best haul of players/picks that I could get and start improving the team from the lines outward.
