Here we go: GSW, MIN and CLE show interest in Amare || Update: NJ, CHI, PHI, MIA

http://www.azcentral.com/sports/sun.../20100124-suns-amare-stoudemire-trade-CR.html

A league source said Golden State, Minnesota and Cleveland have shown interest in acquiring Suns power forward Amar'e Stoudemire.

Major hang-ups in a possible deal are the Suns' need to get good value in return and the other team's need to feel secure in knowing it has a chance to keep Stoudemire, who can opt out of his contract this summer.

Stoudemire has said he wants to play for a title contender but prefers to stay with the Suns, who met with his agent Thursday.

Stoudemire was upset about a recent report that said the Suns have locker-room tension involving him.

"Whoever that guy is, he's a liar," Stoudemire said of ESPN.com writer Chad Ford. "There's nothing to it. You can ask any guy in the locker room. Any coach. Even J-Rich (Jason Richardson) came to me and was like, 'Hey, did you read what the guy said at ESPN? That was BS.' I hadn't even read it, but the guy is a liar and didn't know what he was talking about."

Cleveland? Yeah lets trade him for their trash and disband this dysfunctional franchise alltogether.

Minnesota has absolute no chance of keeping him in my opinion.

Jefferson and Rubio, yeah maybe do that but Jefferson has 3 years left on his contract after this. They can't possibly want to keep Amare, Love and Jefferson.

Maybe they do another trade and send us Rubio, Blount, Cardinal and their pick?

That would leave them with Amare, Flynn, Love and whatever they get for Jefferson. Doubt that is attractive enough to keep Amare in Minnesota.

Cleavland has some interesting pieces.

http://www.realgm.com/src_checktrade.php?tradeid=5403763

Amare

For

Hickson
Z (expiring)
Delonte West
Leon Powe

Dunno if Powe could pass a physical but you could probably just swap their #1 round pick next year (maybe lebron will be gone) for him.

Interesting pieces? Is that a joke?

Delonte West? The guy who hides heavy guns in a violin case?

Power?

An expiring and an average talent?

Why the heck would Lebron leave Cleveland if they got a deal like this..

Just noticed Minnesota can't trade their first rounder since they owe it to the Clips (top 10) protected.

But they have Utah's top 17 protected and Charlotte lottery protected.

Blount, Cardinal, Rubio and those 2 mid first round picks for Amare. Yeah I'd do that and start over if we could get Rubio over soon.

To me, I still think Golden State would give us the best deal... But Minnesota is an interesting one..

Amare for

Corey Brewer
Brian Cardinal (expiring)
Mark Blount (expiring)
and maybe a first rounder?

Hopefully we can make Rubio come back the year Nash's contract expires.

Corey Brewer is a bust. Maybe he turns it around he has some talent but he has no value at this point.

Rubio, their 2 mid first rounders and filler contracts would be my expectation for anything Minnesota can offer.

Powe was actually a pretty big piece of the puzzle when the celtics made thier championship run. Its a gamble but the dude is pretty damn good when hes not blowing out his knee.. He avg like 9ppg 5rbs in 17 min.. thats ridiculous.

Delonte is a great defender and can play 2 gaurd as well. I know we have Dragic but hes west is still an asset.

Hickson just needs some playing time, I like his game and think a season or two under nash could make him flourish.

Z - a big that can still play, limited minutes yea but maybe the suns can sign him on the cheap once his contract is up along with freeing up some space.

he's only 23.. So he's got lotsa time to turn it around.

What exactly is the point of trading for Rubio? If I remember correctly, he already said he is not coming to the NBA any time soon.

I think last thing I read was they think love and jefferson have chemistry problems (or love cancels out jefferson.)
I didn't know if Al Jefferson was injured or not, but that makes sense.

Which might have something to do with Minnesota holding his rights.

Not sure what the situation is if we could even get him, but he would be an IDEAL rebuilding piece and he would be a perfect fit.

Adding to that, the trade really hinges on if powe and hickson panned out...but if it did...We would have a couple of great pieces for the future. Of course thats a big IF.

That'd be the Pau Gasol gift in sequel. Only this time, the Grizzly-imitator doesn't have enough picks and young talents to actually start rebuilding like Pau-Gasol-gift the original did.:bang:
