Needs to get it figured out. Dude is mentally taxed. This should've happened a while ago, but better late than never. I'm rooting hard for him to come back with some regained confidence and electric stuff.

I think after a hard analysis of the season, the numbers will show the inning-eating starting pitchers didn't eat enough innings, and it put the bullpen in a lot of harms way. D-Backs defied the odds early in the season, but it caught up to them by June. That kind of pressure usually ends up swallowing bullpens whole.

Combine that with lineup put together with bondo and duct tape and you get a pretender.

About a month late... boy did he fall off a cliff. 22 earned runs in his last 21 innings. As much as I enjoy trashing Towers I cant really blame him for this bullpen's issues, I thought they'd be a lot better.

Ironic that David and Reynolds, who had been traded for one another, both get DFA'd within days of each other.
