I think Wilks knows this. But seem to not execute it when game is on the line. One reason is Wilks may be pressing too much to get that first win. I think Bidwill needs to go to him and say just R-E-L-A-X.
I don't know. I think that at this point someone's a finished product. Wilks has been a coach for a long time at this point. There's been very little evidence that he's interested in or capable of changing direction and evolving w/r/t his schemes or decision-making.
You didn't like cheering on Palmer and Warner? What do you mean by that? You wish they weren't Cards QBs?
No, not that. Like, I didn't think either of those guys were fun QBs. I thought that even as a Ram Warner was overpraised because of the narrative he carried with him. Marshall Faulk was the engine for that GSoT offense, and he should've had an MVP award.
Warner with the Cards was gutty, but he was always the dad on that team.
Carson Palmer came here as damaged goods, he wasn't an electric leader here, and he always felt like a hired gun. Palmer came into the league so physically gifted that it was difficult to understand why he wasn't better. Something similar is going on with Matt Stafford. I'd love to have a quarterback with Stafford's physical profile, but something about him between the ears just makes me think that he's never leading the Lions anywhere.
Goat: Antoine Bethea
Russel Wilson was the lead blocker on Seattle's first touchdown and he layed a ruthless stiff arm to Bethea.

That was embarrassing. It's gonna be a tough day in the film room for Antoine .
